Well, ever since Emily sang to us that "It's going down and she's yelling "Timber!", we've been cleaning. You know, after Patrick and I tried to rap Pitbull's parts in that song, and of course, failing miserably, but it was all good fun.
"Hey, hun, throw me that can of dusting spray?" I asked Emily.
"Here," she said as she smiled and threw the can to me, which I caught perfectly.
"Thanks," I said.
"Dang, at this rate, we'll be done cleaning in no time!" Patrick said.
Emily and I smiled at him and danced around the the next piece of furniture to clean. Patrick was humming and singing the whole time, Emily was too, and Jaimee was running and dancing around like a maniac. Maybe that's what she got from me... Her complete and utter randomness.
"Oh! I love this song!" Patrick said. "Turn it up!"
"What is it?" I asked.
"Oh! It's 'Counting Stars' by One Republic!" Emily said as she ran to her phone and turned it up.
"Lets do this!" Patrick said as he ran over to Emily.
"Lately I been, I been losing sleep," Emily sang.
"Dreaming about the things that we could be," Patrick sang.
"But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard," she sang.
"Said no more countin' dollars," he sang.
"We'll be counting stars. Yeah, we'll be counting stars," they both sang.
I'm sorry, but put those two together with their singing and you'll die from how perfect they sound. It's like the most perfect harmonization you'll ever hear. I couldn't help it, so I grabbed my phone and started recording them.
"I see this life like a swinging vine. Swing my heart across the vine. In my face is flashing signs. Seek it out and ye shall find. Old, but I'm not that old. Young, but I'm not that bold and I don't think the world is sold. I'm just doing what we're told. I feel something so right by doing the wrong thing. And I feel something so wrong by doing the right thing. I could lie, could lie, could lie. Everything that kills me makes me feel alive," Emily sang.
"Lately I been, I been losing sleep," Patrick sang.
"Dreaming about the things that we could be," she sang.
"But baby, I been, I been prayin' hard," he sang.
"Said no more counting dollars," she sang.
"We'll be counting stars," he sang.

"We'll be, we'll be counting stars," she sang.
Patrick sang the next verse and then he and Emily split up the chorus again. Now comes my time to shine...
"Take that money, watch it burn. Sink in the river the lessons I learned. Everything that kills me makes me feel alive," I sang four times.
Yes, I, Pete Wentz, actually sang. I'll let the moment sink in... After we finished the song, we all laughed and then continued cleaning. I really don't think I've ever had this much fun cleaning before.
"Well, I think we're done," Patrick said as he threw his towel down.
"Looks perfect," Emily said.
"Just wait until after the party," I said.
"Don't remind me," Patrick said as he walked up to me and hugged me and kissed me.
"Guys! Not in the living room!" Emily whined as she hid her face.
"I'm going to have to agree with Em over here," Joe, Andy, Brendon, Dallon, and Spencer all said in unison as they walked through the door, completely scaring all of us out of our witts.
