Waiting for Superman (Emily's POV)

"Hey, don't you want to go back to Pete and Patrick and sing with them?" Gerard asked.
"No," I said, still annoyed at what previously happened with Patrick and Pete.
"Are you sure?" he asked. "They need you."
"If they needed me, they'd come find me," I said.
"Baby," Gerard said as he stroked my cheek. "You know something."
"No, what?" I asked.
"You're really pretty," he said.
"Shut up," I said as I chuckled and playfully hit his shoulder. "Anyway, I'm fucking starving."
"I am too, actually," he said as he laughed. "I'll go find some food."
"I will be eagerly awaiting your return," I said as I smiled.




Gerard stood up, kissed me, and then walked out of the room we were in. I stayed sitting on a chair and pulled my phone out of my pocket. I had a few kissed calls- mostly from Pete- and then a few texts; one being Courtney and the rest being Pete as well. Honestly, it's my life and I can do whatever I want. I just rolled my eyes as I looked over the texts and them grabbed my headphones, plugging them in and blaring my music in my ears. The last thing I remember was drifting off to sleep after a good fifteen to twenty minutes.
When I woke up, my music was off and my earbuds were out. I figured Gerard had done that, but when I looked around, Gerard was no where to be found. I just kind of shrugged my shoulders and sat up and yawned. After another five minutes or so, the door opens.




"Gerard!" I said as I shouted, not even looking at who the person was in the doorway, just kind of assuming that it was him.
"Ha," the person chuckled.
"You ok, baby?" I asked into his shirt.
"Never better," the person said as he hugged me back gently.




While he was hugging me, he was moving his hands all around my back and neck for some reason, but I didn't question it. But that's when I felt something sharp being stabbed into my neck, then nothing but black. . .
