Hey, today is literally the best day of my life! Gerard asked me out, I'm performing with three amazing bands, and well, today is just great! Even right now, there's about five minutes until I go on with twenty one pilots. Oddly enough, I'm not nervous anymore. I don't know if it's because of Gerard or what, but I'm not. I even have something planned for Holding on to You, but it's going to be a surprise for everyone.

"Hey Em!" Pete shouted as he walked over to me.

"Yeah, dad?" I asked.

"How are you doing? Are you nervous at all?" he asked.

"Actually, I'm not anymore," I said. "It just kind of all went away."

"Well, that's good!" he said as he smiled and hugged me.

"Very!" I said as I laughed. "How are you and everyone else doing?"

"Pretty damn good actually!" he said. "Looks like Tyler and Josh are owning the stage!"

"Hell yeah!" I said.

"Pretty soon you'll be up there doing the same thing!" he said.

"I can't wait actually!" I said.

"Good!" he said as he hugged me again. "Now I gotta go back by everyone and figure more things out, ok?"

"Yeah! Go ahead!" I said.

I smiled back at him as he walked away, but then I jumped when I felt arms wrap around my waist.

"God dammit!" I shouted.

"Sorry beautiful," Gerard said as he pecked my cheek.

"You ass," I said as I chuckled.

"You're welcome," he said as he laughed. "Anyway, how are you doing?"

"Good, great actually!" I said. "I'm not nervous, like, at all anymore."

"Really? That's good!" he said as he smiled.

"I agree," I said as I chuckled.

"Hey Emily!" Patrick shouted as he walked over to us. "You've got about two minutes!"

"Thanks dad!" I shouted back as I smiled.

"You're going to do great," Gerard said as he hugged me tighter.

"I hope so," I said as I chuckled. "You're amazing."

"So are you!" he said.

"One minute!" Charlie shouted.

"Well, I'd better get going!" I said.

"One thing first!" Gerard said.

He gently leaned in and kissed me. Oh god, I thought I was going to melt to the floor right then and there. His kisses are something I could definitely get used to. I smiled after he pulled away and then hugged him again. After that, I quickly ran to everyone else and grabbed my mic. Seconds after that, and after everyone smiling at me and telling me that I'd do a great job, the beginning of the song kicked in. I could see the crowd and hear them cheering, but since it was pretty dark backstage, they probably couldn't see me. I took one last look at Gerard and he gave me a big smile.

"Ohh ahhh ohh," I sang into the mic. "Ohh ahhh ohh."

As Tyler started to sing the opening verse, I took a deep breath and made my way onstage. Suddenly, I saw the entire crowd and they cheered louder. I don't know if they knew who I was, but it seemed like they did.

"Does it bother anyone else that someone else has your name?" I sang when the time came. "Does it bother anyone else that someone else has your name, your name?"

"I scream, you scream, we all scream 'cause we're terrified of what's around the corner!" Tyler sang as he smiled at me. "We stay in place 'cause we don't wanna lose our lives! So lets think of something better!"

"Down in the forest, we'll sing a chorus! One that everybody knows! Hands held higher, we'll be on fire! Singing songs that nobody wrote!" Tyler and I sang.

"My brain has given up. White flags are hoisted. I took some food for thought; it might be poisoned. The stomach in my brain throws up onto the page. Does it bother anyone else that someone else has your name?" I sang, belting the last perfectly again.

"I scream, you scream, we all scream 'cause we're terrified of what's around the corner! We stay in place 'cause we don't wanna lose our lives! So lets think of something better!" Tyler sang.

As rehearsed, Tyler, Josh, and I stopped what we were doing and froze. Everyone that was backstage came onstage while we were singing too, but then froze with with us when the time came. All of us looked like we were dead and it actually gave a pretty cool affect! After that, the music kicked in again and everyone danced offstage.

"Down in the forest, we'll sing a chorus! One that everybody knows! Hands held higher, we'll be on fire! Singing songs that nobody wrote!" we both sang again as we danced around.

As the part came up for Tyler to sing the really fast part, he got even crazier with the dancing. He sang his part perfectly!

"Down in the forest," I sang slowly. "We'll sing a chorus."

"Hands held higher, we'll be on fire. Singing songs that nobody wrote!" he sang, getting the last note perfectly.

"Down in the forest, we'll sing a chorus! One that everybody knows! Hands held higher, we'll be on fire! Singing songs that nobody wrote!" we both sang.

We sang the ending of the song and every cheered even louder. Tyler ran up to me and engulfed me in a hug like he did while we were rehearsing.

"Emily Stump everybody! Who thinks she did a great job?!" Tyler said into the mic.

"Whoo!" the crowd cheered.

I laughed as I waved and ran offstage, directly into Gerard's arms. He picked me up and spun me around, tightening his grip on me as he did so. He even kissed me again, which of course, I loved.

"You did such a good job beautiful!" he said. "You're voice is so beautiful!"

"Great job!" Pete said as he ran over.

"Em, you did great!" Patrick said.

"You killed it out there!" Brendon said.

"Thanks you guys! You all helped me so much!" I said. "I love all of you guys!"

As we all talked more, I could hear Tyler and Josh playing and singing Holding on to You. I remembered what I was going to do, and thank god I remembered in time.

"Sorry to interrupt, but I gotta go! I have something planned!" I said as I ran to stage left.

I stood there and waited for my time. As they got to the certain part of the song where Josh does a backflip of off the piano and Tyler jumps off of it, I quickly ran out there and ran up onto the piano, shocking both of them, and then did a backflip off of it right after Josh. Josh told me that that was completely awesome and then high fived me. After that, Tyler does a dance that I've seen him do before, so I learned it a while ago and I was going to surprise him by doing the dance with him, right beside him. As he started dancing, I did too, making he turn to me and smile. We were perfectly in sync, which looked awesome!

"I love this girl!" Tyler said into the mic after we finished the song. "Emily again, everyone!"

"Thanks you guys!" I said into the mic before I ran offstage again.

"Where the hell did you learn to do a backflip and that dance?" Patrick asked, completely mesmerized as he hugged me.

"I've had some free time," I said as I laughed.

*A/N* if any of you have seen the "Twenty One Pilots: Live from the LC" performance, then you'll know what dance Tyler does. It's pretty cool!
