"When the voltage goes up and the sparks start flyin' and flesh and blood and bones are fryin', you must set aside your fear and bring us back a souvenir. The ash of a mortal, if you dare, look around, there's plenty to spare," I said. "What the hell does the person mean by that?"

"I have no idea, I just know I'm freaked out like hell," Brendon said.

"I am too," Spencer and Charlie said.

"All I know is that we have to save everyone," Joe said. "We can't just leave them there to die!"

"I know baby," I said as I hugged him again. "We'll find them, I promise."

Joe hugged me back and then we all talked and discussed what we all thought the person meant by what he said. We all came up with different ideas, but when I shared my idea, everyone liked it. My idea was something with the fuse box in the basement, since I couldn't really think of anything else besides all of the equiqment on the main floor, but like we all agreed before, we didn't think this person would be stupid enough to do things on the main floor.

"Well, lets go," I said.

I took Joe's hand as I started walking to where the basement stairs were. Charlie, Brendon, and Spencer followed us hesitantly. Once we arrived at the basement stairs a few minutes later, we all stopped.

"Are you sure we should do this?" Brendon asked.

"Do you want to save the guys and Em?" I asked.

"Good point..." he said as he put his head down.

We started down the stairs and it was pitch black about halfway down. We all took out our phones and turned the lights on on them. It helped a little, but not much.

"This is the creepiest basement I've ever been in," Spencer said.

"I agree," Brendon said.

"Lets just get this over with and look for the fuse box," I said. "There's got to be something around there."

As we walked farther into the rooms, my grip on Joe's hand for tighter and tighter. Honestly, I don't get acres easily or that much, but this is the freakiest situation I've been in, and frankly, it really was scaring me.

"Ow! Fuck!" Charlie shouted from behind us, scaring the absolute shit out of us.

"What?! Are you ok?" I asked as I ran to him.

"I just fucking sliced my leg open on something," he said.

"God, we have to be careful down here," Spencer said.

"Miss me?" the voice suddenly asked, scaring all of us again.

"Fucking a!" Joe shouted as he jumped about five feet in the air.

"Haha," the voice laughed. "Ask yourselves this question: They will say that I have shed innocent blood. What's blood for, if not for shedding?"

After that, nothing but silence filled the room again. The dark, cold room. I was confused... Was that another clue or something about Charlie... Did they plan on doing that to Charlie?

"Lights out, boys," the voice suddenly came through again.

I tightened my grip on Joe's hand even more as all of our phone lights went out at the same time. We heard an infamous scream again and our lights flashed back on.

"Oh god- Charlie!" I shouted.

"Not just Charlie..." Joe said.

"Oh no, Spencer!" Brendon shouted.

"Aha, I see you've noticed that I've taken your poor little, helpless friends away. Don't worry, don't fret, they'll deserve what they'll get. Their cunning ways may set them ablaze, but don't worry, don't fret, you'll eventually win this bet," the voice said.

"Set them ablaze?! What do you mean by that?!" I shouted.

"Don't worry, it'll all become blurry. Soon, you won't remember a thing and we can end this little fling," the voice said.

"This is too creepy," Joe said.

"Then get ready, my taker. You'll soon meet your maker," the voice said. "Lights out."

*A/N* Ok, I actually made those rhyming things up this time! I didn't make the blood one up, but I feel accomplished about the 'cunning ways' one and the 'taker/maker' one.
