Winter

Snowflakes on my lashes,

Hot cocoa in my arms,

Raindrops on my glasses,

Winter is here without alarm.

Covered in my warm blanket ,

I watch as the clouds cry,

Pouring all those raindrops,

I watch the wind pass by.

The wind begins to whistle,

The rain begins to tap,

On my warm house's window,

With my blanket I am tightly wrapped,

The cold breeze hugs me tight,

Thunder rumbling in the distance,

As I am stunned by the beautiful sight,

I fall into a trance.

As lightning lights my world ,

And the clouds begin to rumble,

Nature's voices are heard,

I hear the raindrops' mumbles.

As winter approaches ,

The world is covered in snow,

What a glorious sight this is,

That is beginning to show.

Snowmen and snowballs,

The innocent laughter of children fill the air,

This season is for us all,

The season of love and care.

Family warmth is in my house,

This warmth that we all share,

Winter is a season,

I find beyond compare.
