Just Another Day

Her silent sobs echo,

She cries on her own shoulder,

The only friend is her shadow,

There is nobody there to hold her.

Her cries can be clearly heard,

Yet they are ignored,

Simply because no one cared,

Not now and never before.

She lets out a loud sob,

Praying for a happy ending,

Will everything work out ?

Her heart is tired and needs mending .

Not a single word escaping her lips ,

Her heart trembles out of grief,

As the tears begin to drip.

She desperately wants relief .

Any sign of hope?

Is the grass getting greener ?

How much longer does she have to cope?

Every day they keep getting meaner .

She sobs and sobs but this time,

She doesn't bother to hide it,

To some people she is not worth

even a dime,

And she only has to accept it .
