Chapter 2: Violet Lonheart's Story

Violet's POV:
I can't believe that Gray is willing to listen to me, no one has ever been willing to listen to me I was always shut out of most things but here is this guy who just happened to save me yesterday and now he wants to help me? I decided that I would trust Gray and Fairy Tale if he is willing to listen to me and try to help me along with his guild mates then I may as well find it in my heart to try and trust them. I looked to Gray who was still sitting beside me before flopping down so that I was laying on my back on the grass as I started to talk.

''Well I'll be honest I've never really talked to anyone about my past or why I was attacked and my childhood is hard to talk about but I said I would trust you so I'll just have to buck up and speak. I guess this all started ten years ago when I was still just a kid about eight I would say. I lived in a small village in the north with my mother and father they saw potential in me and started to teach me magic from a young age...but it didn't last long we heard a bloodcurdling roar and within seconds our village was attacked and destroyed leaving me unconscious. It was destroyed, everyone killed by Deliora I was the only survivor'' I said I looked to the side to see that Gray had lay back on the grass next to me but he tensed up at that part.

''I can't believe that happened to you to...'' he mumbled I gave him a confused making him turn his head to face me, ''my village was destroyed by Deliora too and just like you I was the only survivor, soon after that I was found and taken in by Ur a powerful ice mage she's the one who taught me ice maker magic. But she's now the ice that contains Deliora, she used a spell called Iced shell using her body to seal away the demon'' I listen to him and my eyes widened he had a similar experience to me but I knew we were different he was found, taken in and cared for by someone. I wasn't

''Well you were lucky that Ur found you, I was believed dead along with the rest of my village so I was never found and I was alone after I finally got out from that rubble. To this day I have tried to move as far away from where I lived as I could, I used my basic knowledge and developed my powers in my element but now I see that although I am powerful its not a good thing not with who is after me and what they want to do with me'' I said looking from Gray back up to the sky darkness filling my eyes. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I knew Gray wanted me to tell him so I did,

''I'm being hunted by the members of the Eisenwald guild, Erigor and Kageyama are desperate to capture me and use my power for their evil plan. They want to resurrect Deliora by melting the ice that is imprisoned it then they want to use my power to control it and over throw the government. But I fear even with my power it wont be enough to control that demon it will run rampage and kill anyone and anything in its path, just like ten years ago!'' I said through gritted teeth, Gray's grip tightened on my shoulder and I knew he was thinking the same as me that we had to make sure that what I had just stated was prevented at all costs.

''Eisenwald I should have guessed they were behind this, but what about those guys yesterday they didn't look like they were part of that guild and you only said Erigor and Kageyama meaning those are the only two from the guild that are still free and coming after you'' he said sitting up, I sat up next to him and nodded,

''yeah they are but they had paid those men from the village to chase me, they were assured that I wouldn't attack them making it easy for them. They were paid so much that their greed took over their sense and they came after me and well you know the rest. I was cornered in that forest from exhaustion then you saved me'' I said as Gray nodded then standing up

''come on Mirajane is worried about you and I'm sure gramps and Erza are too lets get you back to the guild for rest. You can join our guild and we'll keep you safe, our guild is noisy and a riot but everyone is family and we look out for one another I promise you'll be welcome'' he said with a smile, I sighed but I knew he was right if I trusted them I had to prove it and join them. I don't want to put them in danger but right now I don't really have a choice in the matter.
