Gerald POV

It took a month for Danny to get every thing settled and placed as she liked it in the house. I knew she would love the building, Marty had put a lot of money into the place. Dare I say it felt like home living with D again. The routine was comforting. Especially through the constant withdrawal symptoms. My anger tended to get out of hand along with sorrow, but somehow she put up with it without a fuss. She knew the real me and this wasn't me. I woke up shivering, pulling her form closer and burying my face in her golden locks.

" You okay?"

"Mmm just cold... A bit of a headache." A sigh escaped her lips as she ran her hand along my back.

"So... what do you think you're gonna do on this tour then Gerald..."

"What do you mean?"

"Well the album just needs some touching up and then it is time to release it... Marty says you'll be touring soon, maybe two or three months... Then you'll be away for I think 4 straight months."

"Well aren't you going to be there with me?"

"I'll try to be as often as I can, but you know I've got a business to run babe." I didn't want to mention the stalker. After all she avoided the topic as much as possible. Even I tried to avoid it most of the time. However it was the elephant in the room along with my drug use. "You can stay clean Gerald. I know it is gonna be difficult. You'll be around it and be asked to do it, but you're strong."

"At least I've always got weed right?" She chuckled as did I before I sat up.

" Yeah and well... I'm a phone call away Gerald. If you feel tense and upset just call me. Just don't take your anger out on everyone on tour."

"I know... Otherwise it will be a living nightmare." She got out of bed and grabbed a pair of sweatpants and my hoodie before sitting down and slipping on her shoes.

"Let's grab a coffee yeah? I haven't had a decent cup in like a month." A smirk crossed my lips as I got up and slipped into my own sweats and hoodie. This was nothing like Devon and I. She wouldn't have dared go out in public dressed like a normal person. By normal I mean casual clothes just for a coffee run.

"Yee, you're telling me." I took her hand and we walked out of the house, always careful to lock the door behind us. We went along to the coffee shop she adored, why I had no clue. The coffee was anything but special. Though it mattered to me that she enjoyed the place. As we strolled in the barista gave us a funny look. He always seemed to be here.

" Hey Denis!"

"D, how ya been?" I tensed slightly and secured my arm around her waist. Only I had ever called her D.

"I can't complain... I'll get two of the usual." She flashed a smile and handed over ten bucks, leaving behind the change as we walked to the nearby booth. "Mmm is Gerald getting jealous?" I scoffed before pressing a kiss to her neck as she sat beside me.

"Jealous? Me? Well I'm the only one whose ever called you D..."

" Yeah it is kind of weird. He never did it till he heard you call me D." She thankfully agreed with me on this. It was good knowing we both felt uneasy about his gesture.

"He's been super off lately. When I came here with Finn once or twice he would get real snooty. Maybe cause he's gay?"

"He's gay?"

" Well I mean... He seems like it. He doesn't really look at women like most men. I dunno. Either way it doesn't matter. I'm yours Ger." Her lips pressed to mine. A smirk crossing my features.

"I just worry about you... Around guys. Merely because of the stalker thing D... I don't want anyone hurting you."

"You've got a stalker?" Denis mumbled as he brought the drinks to the table. She nodded slowly.

"Yeah I haven't been around cause I had to move." She squeezed my hand slightly.

"Wow... That's crazy. But you know you're a celebrity Danny... Sometimes Stalkers come around. I'm sure he or she is harmless."

" Well the person broke into her apartment." I sighed slightly. "He or she took stuff. I think a... Low key stalker wouldn't go to that extent."

" So you think the person is dangerous?" Denis seemed extremely interested in the topic. Danny stayed out of it and sipped her coffee. Any talk of the stalker made her nervous.

"I dunno... I think any stalker is dangerous. Especially if they get too close." Denis nodded slowly.

" Well stay safe. If either of you two need anything here is my number. I'm no strong man, but we are always better in numbers." He walked away after he sat a card on our table. I took it between my thumb and fingertip. I couldn't place my finger on what this looked like. My mind running wild. As I stared at the card before sitting it on the table.

"He's an odd one. I don't trust him."

"I don't trust anyone except the squad at this point. Anyone could be the stalker. I mean they know enough about me." We stood, coffees in hand as we began walking once again. I didn't see the signs before it was too late. I didn't notice the first of many signs. The eyes watching us from the window. Admiring the way my girl walked. Hating that fact that I was beside her. Little did I know I was the target of interest. Once I would be out of the way D would be in more danger than I could even imagine. What perfect timing since I was going to be away on tour soon. Thousands of miles away.
