After about a minute of the song, Kassie was groaning. Carly Ray was an amazing singer, no doubt, but Call Me Maybe was going to be a blocked and rejected number if it didn't stop.

"Miranda, hit the brakes on that song! Torture us with something else!" Arcus yelled over the music. He was clearly annoyed with the song too.

"Fine!" the teenage girl replied. She was tall and had auburn hair. Everyone in the room sighed in relief. Instead, she danced to Teenage Dream.

Everyone seemed to shift to look at Kassie and Arcus. Arcus was blushing red, whereas Kassie was grinning.

"Anyway, follow me." Crystal said. Cassandra, Arcus, and Kassie walked up the stairs, following her. Arcus held Kassies' hand. Kassie gave it a soft squeeze, whispering, "Well, this is my family. It's just me and my mom."

Arcus nodded, raising an eyebrow. "And your father?" he whispered back.

"... I'll tell you later." Kassie said back.

Arcus' heart broke. The sadness in her voice didn't sound like anything good happened with her father. He gave her hand a comforting squeeze. "No worries, my love." he told her softly. He kissed her forehead, watching the smile he loved so much reclaim her face.

Crystal stopped walking in front of two double doors. She grinned. "Welcome to the Aurelius household." she stepped aside, softly pushing Cassandra in front of the door.

Cassandra raised an eyebrow. She slowly pushed open the doors, immediately gasping.

The room was huge, for starters. It was an elegant white and held design mannequins along with cloths to use. On a desk beside the window, held designing notepads, pens, pencils, and a sewing machine. Against a wall held her queen sized bed, with white nightstands and lamps. The front wall held a flat screen television. To the right of the bed held an unopened room.

Cassandra walked in, looking around. Kassie immediately followed, gasping in surprise. "Mom. Oh my god."

"I-I know. This is everything." Cassandra breathed.

Crystal grinned at their reactions. "You enjoy designing clothes, Cassandra?"

"Of course!" Cassandra said.

Crystal nodded towards another door on the other side of the room, unopened.

Cassandra walked towards it, opening it.

Behind this door contained a giant walk in closet, filled with clothes, shoes, accessories, and mirrors. "Crystal! This is too much!" Cassandra gushed.

Kassie grinned. This was everything her mother wanted. She just didn't have the money for it. Her dreams were coming true before her eyes.

Crystal laughed. "All of this is yours. Don't thank me. The room beside your bed is your own personal bathroom. Do you like it?"

Cassandra closed the walk in closet door and walked over to Crystal, nodding. "I'm in love with it. Thank you so much."

Crystal grinned and nodded. "I said don't thank me! But it's no problem."

Kassie walked out of her mother's room, her cheeks starting to hurt. Her mother was beaming. She loved it.

Cassandra looked down at her phone, checking the time. "I'm so sorry, but I need to leave. I need to catch the next flight home."

Crystal nodded. "It was very nice meeting you Cassandra!"

"You as well!" Cassandra said. She looked at Arcus, giving him a grin. "And it was very nice meeting you as well, Arcus. I'm happy Kassie is with you."
