Arcus started walking back to the house, holding Kassie close. He looked down at her, his eyes becoming softer. ""I'm so sorry my love." He didn't want to let go. "I'll take you upstairs and then bring your dinner up there, ok?"

Kassie simply nodded in response. But Arcus continued rambling.

"Oh god, I'm so sorry. Don't do that. Just let me handle them from now on. They're vultures." he said bitterly.

Arcus walked past the hawking family members in the house, going straight up to his room. As he started going up the stairs, Sophie started clapping. And soon, everyone was. "Hey man she's a fighter too!" one of the guys said. Arcus smiled as he saw Kassie slightly smile at the compliment. He got to his room and put Kassie down on his bed.

"It's a sleep number bed, so you can adjust how soft or firm you want it." he told her.

He opened up his mini fridge and handed her a bottle of Voss water. "Drink this. What do you want to eat? Anything you want. I mean it. Just name it and you'll have it in a few minutes." Arcus sat on the bed and put Kassie's legs over his own and started massaging her feet.

Kassie opened the water, drinking a good half of the bottle the first time around. She felt better. She didn't realize she was that dehydrated. She didn't change the bed, out of fear of ruining Arcus' preferred number. "I'm fine." she told him with a small smile. "Anything works."

Arcus gave her a small smile, finding her returning back to normal. "You sure?"

Kassie leaned up and gave Arcus a sweet kiss. Arcus smiled a bit against it and kissed her back. "I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." Kassie told him softly.

"You don't have anything to apologize for, you did what you thought was right." Arcus took off his shoes and laid down next to Kassie, holding her and playing with her hair lightly. He took out his phone and texted Miranda to bring up some pizza and salad for Kassie.

Kassie cuddled into Arcus, both of them in silence. Arcus didn't know a silence between two people could be so peaceful. He kissed her forehead as a knock came on the door a few minutes later.

Miranda and Raquel walk in with food. Or well, Miranda had the food. Raquel came in with a homemade smoothie. "It'll make you feel better." Raquel said shyly. She gave Kassie a small smile, placing it on the nightstand.

Kassie grinned, sitting up to hug Raquel and kiss her forehead. "Thank you sweetness. I appreciate it. I really do."

Raquel hugged her back, giggling. She pulled away, running back downstairs.

Miranda rolled her eyes at Raquel and placed the food beside the smoothie, nodding at Kassie. "Eat up. Feel better soon." she said simply. She doesn't know Kassie yet but she respects her for facing the vultures alone.

"Thanks guys!" Arcus called after Miranda before she closed the door.

Kassie grabbed the smoothie and took a few sips from it. Strawberry-kiwi. "Raquel sure knows how to make a smoothie." she chuckled.

He laughed too, just looking at her. He was glad she was relaxing. His face turns into a random scowl. 'I dare anyone to try to remove me from her side.' he thought angrily. He watched Kassie lean over to get pizza, his face returning back to normal. He leaned down, worried once again. He began massaging her feet again.

Kassie leaned back, laughing. She softly kicked her feet at Arcus. "Would you go do something else other than wait on me hand and foot?" she said. "I appreciate it, I really do. But you don't need to."

Arcus put her feet down and got up. "I'm not leaving you." he said simply. "I will wait on you hand over foot because I fell head over heels for you."

Kassie chuckled at his corny joke as he got up and walked over to his closet. "Do you want a shirt or sweater to wear?" Arcus read somewhere that girls love to collect clothing items from their boyfriends. Yes, he's such a dork that he researches what to do for Kassie.

Kassie smiled. "Yeah, sure." she said. Then Arcus took his shirt off. Then his pants. Kassie raises an eyebrow, chuckling. "I'm not complaining..." she mumbled.

He pulled on a pair of grey sweatpants, pulling out two sweaters of his own. One was black and blue, another was red and black. "Your pick."

Kassie pointed to the black and blue sweater. "I like that one!" she said happily.

He tossed her the sweater, putting the other away. That one still had his cologne on it, since it's been pretty recent since he's worn it.

She placed the sweater beside her, observing Arcus. She wanted to ask him something. But she knew his immediate answer would be no.

Arcus looked up from fiddling with the strings on his sweats. "... What?"

Kassie chuckled. It was worth a shot. "Let me treat you to something. Please? Just for the rest of the day?" she asked sweetly.

Arcus laughed, shaking his head. "Now why would I let you treat me? You collapsed out there not so long ago. If you want to treat me then let me take care of you, ok?" Arcus said. He lied back down on the bed, stretching lazily on the bed.

Meanwhile downstairs...

"She's so... innocent. In this day and age! How the fuck does she manage that?" One of Arcus' brothers speaks up. They're literally just sitting in a circle discussing Kassie.

"Maybe she's just a good person you ass, have you ever thought of that?" an irritated Miranda speaks up.

He instantly shut up, baffled by Miranda. She never speaks up for anyone. She's usually the one that roasts them. But for some reason Kassie managed to gain her respect. That'll go a long way in the Aurelius family.

"Kassie get back here!" Arcus was hears yelling from upstairs, immediately followed by the pat of feet against the floor.

"Never!" Kassie could be heard yelling. Kassie shot down the stairs like a bullet, Arcus a good length behind.

"What the hell are you planning?" he asked after her, chasing her around the room.

Everyone else in the room was laughing, moving out of Kassies' way to run. "It's a surprise!" she yelled back. She pushed a table in his way, running to the kitchen.

Arcus immediately tripped, stubbing his toe. He laughed through the pain. "Ow babe!" he yelled out. He quickly recovered, still chasing after her.

Miranda chuckled, listening to how convenient the song was playing in the background. It was Marry You by Bruno Mars.

As Kassie shot past Crixus, Crixus followed her. Only out of curiosity.

As Arcus shot past Eric, he followed him. Only to retrieve his curious boyfriend.

Kassie and Crixus made it to the kitchen, closing the doors and pushing the chairs in front of it to serve as a barricade. Kassie used the small window to stick her tongue out at a defeated Arcus. "Ha!"

Arcus sighed, grinning. "I'm gonna get in there and drag you back to bed!" he yelled through the window.

"I'd like to see you try!" Kassie yelled back. She immediately preheated the oven and got out cookie cutters. She was going to make cookies. Or better yet, madeleines.
