"For gods sake!" Arcus laughed. His girlfriend was playful, obviously. And independent from the looks of it. He shook his head, looking at Eric. "How the hell are we supposed to get them out?"

Eric's eyebrows knitted themselves into a thoughtful face. He looked around. Then he looked up at the vent.

Arcus followed his gaze, a sigh coming from him. "If that's what it takes."

Back in the kitchen...

Crixus sat on a stool, laughing. "Having our boyfriends chase us through the house is exhilarating, don't you think?"

Kassie laughed. At the moment, she was using the cookie cutters to cut her and Arcus' name into the dough, along with small hearts. "Of course. Arcus needs to chill sometimes though." she said. She placed the cut out dough on two cookie sheets, sliding them into the oven.

"Honey, he does not have a single chilled bone in his body." Crixus said.

Both of then jumped as a loud thud came against the door.

Speaking of outside the door...

"Ah hell!" Arcus said. He had tried to ram at the door, but only ended up falling on his arse. They were both too big to fit in the vent.

"Don't get butthurt about it!" Eric said. He sent Arcus a grinned and bursted out into hysterical laughter.

Back in the kitchen...

Kassie and Crixus burst into laughter as well, looking through the small window at the two. Kassie stuck her tongue out at Arcus as he got up.

Arcus walked up the the window, grinning. "Babe, what're you doing? And I know it's not anything good if Crixus is in there with you!" he said.

She gave him an innocent smile. "I'm not doing anything in here with Crixus. Would you just chill?"

Arcus smirked. "Alright. I'll chill."

Kassie grinned. "Seriously?"

"Nope."

Kassie groaned and Crixus laughed. Eric rolled his eyes as Arcus walked away from the window, walking back upstairs. How do you coax a music lover out of a room? With music, of course.

Kassie walked back to the oven, peeking into it. The cookies were almost done. She sat on a barstool beside Crixus. "See? He can be chill." Kassie said.

Crixus shrugged. "Who kno-"

"Well, you done done me and you bet I felt it
I tried to be chill, but you're so hot that I melted
I fell right through the cracks
Now I'm trying to get back

Before the cool done run out
I'll be giving it my bestest
And nothing's gonna stop me but divine intervention.
I reckon, it's again my turn
To win some or learn some.

But I won't hesitate
No more, no more.
It cannot wait,
I'm yours." Arcus sang from outside.

Kassies heart fluttered. Not only did she recognize the song, but she loved hearing Arcus sing it. She walked to the window and peeked out. Arcus held a ukulele in hand, looking right back at her.

Crixus chuckled. "Kassie, recognize what he's doing."

Kassie raised an eyebrow. Then her face lit up with realization. "I'm not coming out, Arcus!"

From the window, Arcus could be seen giving an exasperated groan. Eric could be seen... shirtless?
