Snapping out of his daze, Arcus shakes his head. "Uh... Yeah. Sure." He gets up, completely confused. One moment they're in a state of total bliss and the next she's angry. Or that's what it seemed like. 'Where did I go wrong?'

Arcus gets up and picks everything up, carefully placing the records and notebooks next to her panda bear in the backseat. He opens her door for her silently, avoiding her gaze. Arcus walks over to his side and gets in his car. His jaw clenches as he tries to figure out what he did. "I-I'm sorry." He manages to say as he starts his car.

Kassie gets into the car, slamming the door. How dare he do any of this for her? What does he want from her? Why specifically her? She didn't want to deal with it, nor did she have the time for it. She ignored his apology, taking out her phone. She avoided his gaze as well, angry tears starting to form in her eyes. She sniffled a bit, quickly wiping them away. She managed to sit through the entire car ride and not said a word to him.

After a while of angry and upset silence, he pulls into the school and parks near her dorm. Arcus was totally thrown off by her sudden change. He didn't know how to handle it. He knows that he must have done something. Arcus walks around and opens her door for her and gets the stuff he got for her on their night out, hoping that she'll keep it. "Do you want me to walk you back to your room?" he asks. All the happiness gone from his voice. All that remains is a sincere concern for her safety, given that it's almost midnight. He softly hands her the panda he won for her earlier, hoping that she'll keep it and at least remember the good times they had that night.

Kassie gets out of the car, pushing her phone into her back pocket. She grabs her pen and her notepad, ignoring the things that he got for her. "No." She replied coldy, and her voice a bit shaky. She dropped the panda on the ground and kicked it a bit before she stormed off into her dorm, running a hand furiously through her hair. How could she be such a fool? Good guys like Arcus didn't exist. They were always the players. The heartbreakers. She had seen it done so many times, and she wasn't about to deal with it.

Arcus blinks and breathes heavily, watching her walk away. What had just happened? Had she just taken a gentle grip on his heart just to rip it out of his chest? He decides against going after her to ask her what's wrong. After all, they had only just met hours ago. His chest filling with an all too familiar rage. There was a gym on campus. He began storming to it.

'Maybe it was for the best.' he thinks bitterly. 'Before she finds out who I was.'

He growls as he gets to the gym. He walks in and bee lines to the boxing bags. Frustrated and furious at himself for getting attached to Kassie, he released his fury onto the 150lb bag. After an hour his knuckles were swollen and bleeding, but he didn't notice or care. He just stayed there for hours. How could he get so attached to her? How dare he think she was different?

Kassie stormed into the dorm, having a complete breakdown. She took off all of her clothes and pulled on a pair of black sweatpants and a black tank top. She didn't realize she was crying. How dare she get attached to Arcus? She grabbed her pen and notebook, writing until she fell asleep.

The next day...

Kassie finally got out of bed. It was only 11am. She needed a new notepad, as the one she had was filled with angry and depressing song lyrics. She did her hair, and washed her face of any tear streaks. She even put on any makeup to hide the fact that she was even upset. New day, new people. She didn't need Arcus. She could make new friends.

She pulled on grey sweatpants and a matching tank top, pulling on a Nike hat over her hair. Before going over to archery and her first day class, she would explore the campus. She grabbed her phone and jogged outside. Her day was going to be great, and no one was going to change that.

Meanwhile...

Crystal pulled into the school campus in her new Porsche. Why the hell wasn't he responding to her calls? She picked up her phone again and called him.

One ring. Two ring. Three ring. Voicemail.

Crystal groaned, but she couldn't help but to be worried. It was her little brothers second day of college. How could he have already gotten upset? She drove to his dorm and parked. She looked around. She didn't see his car.

She got out of her car, jogging into the dorm. It was full of students about to attend morning classes. "Hey!" Crystal yelled out.

Immediately, everyone was looking her way.

"Have any of you seen a guy? He's about 6'3, really pale skin, and most females find him handsome. Some guys if you're into that. Has anyone seen him?" she asked.

Everyone either said no or shook their head.

Crystal cursed under her breath. If no one had seen him, where else could her little brother be?

Then it clicked. She hopped back into her car and drove back to the gym she had passed. She parked and pushed open the door, finding all types of people working out. And Arcus going at the punching bag with bloody knuckles and wet cheeks.

Crystal gasped, walking over to her brother. "Arcus?" she said softly. She softly tapped his shoulder.

Arcus shrugged her hand off, turning around. "C-crystal?" he said. The last thing he said before he collapsed.

Crystal caught him and set him down on the floor, beginning to panic. The entire gym was looking at this point. Crystal looked around, her eyes threatening to spill tears. "Someone call an ambulance!" she shrieked.
