Departed.
That was it.
Renae was elsewhere, studying trying to pursue something she never planned of.
Fashion designing.
She had an amazing imagination to begin with but her imaginations were too dangerous to be put into fashion designing.
I might as well say that with her skills, she was better off being a painter or something related to it.
She didn't even try, she got through all the interviews and exams with ease but she never accepted any of those jobs.
Two years after she graduated, she decided to work for a company.
(Yes, she got job offers when she was just a sophomore in college)
After seven months of working for the fashion industry she suddenly resigned. Everyone was shocked, I was too. Well, I wasn't there but I knew of her potential so I was quite surprised myself.
Renae didn't know what Marcus did in college, where he was or what he was pursuing.
They forgot each other's existence.
Honestly, I didn't know what Marcus was pursuing either not until someone told me, but let's save that for later.
After Renae left her job, she started doing something and I was glad that she resigned from her previous job.
She began writing and publishing her own books.
I've read quite a few of them and they were not something I was proud or amazed of. It was peaceful and chaotic, it made me feel at ease that I could read it. It wasn't beautiful or sad. What I read didn't make me feel anything or left me with anything to express the after effect but I was glad.
I didn't know where she got her ideas and inspirations from but I sure do know it came from inside the walls she built when she was young. The part of her no one saw, not even Marcus.
Even though I have written college in this chapter, I don't have much to say or write about it since their college days went about pretty fast and no one knew how their times flew by. Must be because no one was in touch of what was going around in anyone's life.
I wondered a lot on how they survived, how Renae survived, if she was ever okay and what made her so independent.
The people around Marcus and Renae often wondered where their life long friendship disappeared, where he was or what she was doing.
It had come to the point where even their parents wondered and I mean both Renae and Marcus parents.
It's getting sad ain't it?
Don't be. We aren't there yet.
