Our meals for a while have been awkward, but they became even more awkward with Luke. You could practically feel the tension in the room drifting through the air, hitting everyone in the face.

Carphil found it all funny, he especially loved the look of guilt plastered on Michael's face. Luke and I found it the opposite of funny, and we both felt hurt and lied to.

The three of us were currently sitting in our room, Michael in his corner, Luke in another corner, and myself, in my corner. Michael was facing the wall while Luke and I stared at each other giving sympathy smiles.

"Dinner is coming soon" Luke reminded us. Michael didn't move, as for I, I just nodded. "How are you feeling?" Luke asked.

"Nervous" I admitted.

"Are you sure you want to do this?" He asked. Michael shifted his head in my direction, awaiting my answer to the question.

"Yeah" I said. He looked back down, shaking his head in disapproval.

"Which way do you go when you get out of the trap door?" He asked quizzing me.

"To the left" I said.

"When is it okay to cross from the hallway into the living room?" He challenged again.

"When you're causing a distraction" I said.

"One more, what piece of furniture is the hallway behind?" He asked.

"The bookcase, that I move slowly incase it makes noise" I said.

"You're ready" he smiled. I smiled back and Michael remained facing the wall.

"I'm going to go shower" Luke said getting up and exiting. He opened the door, and shut it behind him, leaving Michael and I alone in silence.

"You're really doing it?" Michael sighed breaking the tension.

"Yes" I replied annoyed with him.

"I'm sorry" he said turning around.

"Sorry doesn't fix this Michael. Sorry can't sew together the heart that you're going to eventually have to break" I said.

"I know but sorry can at least get me my arcade or carnival or movie or blanket fort date back, can't it?" He asked in hope.

"I don't know" I shrugged. He sighed and fiddled his fingers, trying to think of something else to say to me.

"I want you to take this with you" he said walking over to me. He sat next to me and placed his iPod in my hands. "Let the music take your mind away from the fear" he said. I smiled and placed it in the pocket of my pants.

"Thanks" I said.

"Anything for you" he replied. "If they can't find us once you get out, keep that in memory of me" he added.

"What do you mean if they can't find you?" I asked.

"If Carphil realizes you left and takes Luke and I somewhere else" he clarified.

"He won't, stop worrying. For once, you're going to get a happy ending, and you're going to go home and see your parents and I can see mine and Luke can see his" I said.

"I don't even remember what my house looks like" he said.

"Your memory will refresh once you get home and see it again" I said.

"DINNER!" A voice called. Michael and I froze and I began to feel my heart start beating, faster than it ever has before. The fear was overwhelming me already and we haven't even begun the plan.

"Can I have one last kiss before you go?" He asked. I looked over to him and he locked his eyes with mine.

"Yeah" I said unable to resist him. We leaned in and connected our lips together and the mental firework still went off in my brain, despite everything that was going on. We disconnected, until he reconnected again, beginning to repeat the pattern. He moved me to his lap while keeping our lips connected and he cupped my cheeks with both of his hands so I wouldn't pull away.

We slowly began to have a full on make out session in the middle of the room. Michael roamed his hands around my body, exploring me almost as if he was taking in everything I had because he was scared he wouldn't see me again. We pulled away to breathe, both of us out of breath and full of passion. He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear as we were both gasping for air.

"You're so damn beautiful" he reminded me. I pressed my lips against his once more.

"He's going to wonder where we are" I said. Michael nodded and kissed me again, with more passion and duration than the last, making sure he savored every second our lips had in contact.

"Okay, lets go" he said. I removed myself from his lap and stood on my feet. He stood up as well, and hugged me once more. "You can do this" he said.

"Only because you put your faith in me" I said. We stayed in this hug for what felt like forever, before we walked down the hallway to what could hopefully be our last meal with Carphil.
