*B walks downstairs finally feeling rested enough to face everyone, walking over to the couch she plops down next to Joe and Miley with a groan*

(Joe) Dude…next time we play hide and seek, you are SO on my team…where the heck were you last night?

(Bailey) *shrugs* treehouse…

(Joe) *cocks a brow* why the heck didn’t I think of that place…man, I haven’t been there in years!

(Bailey) apparently no one has, all the weeds and stuff have grown over our trail…doesn’t look like anyone has played out there since we left.

(Joe) that’s a shame…I miss those woods. So you were in the treehouse the whole time? Wasn’t it cold?

(Bailey) not nearly as bad as coming home to Nick’s warm greeting letting me know that I wasn’t forgiven and that he no longer had my back

(Joe) *cocks a brow* wow…what is his deal

(Bailey) *shrugs* He’s tired of my shit. It’s a big job having me as a twin…it’s stressful, the hours are horrible and there is zero pay or benefits so he quit. I suppose I deserve it, he is right, I’m a horrible sister, I’m surprised you haven’t washed your hands of me yet.

(Joe) *wraps an arm around B’s shoulder and pulls her into a side hug* You are NOT a horrible sister.

(Bailey) *rolls her eyes* Nick says I manipulate people and situations to get what I want and that I lie and put you guys in the position where you have to lie to cover for me

(Joe) spoken just like Nick….Bailey…yes, it’s true, you are a bit of a rebel but you never do that stuff maliciously…I cover for you cause I love you and don’t want you in trouble…you don’t put me in that position, it’s my choice.

(Bailey) yea but…you wouldn’t have to make that choice if I didn’t do the shit I do….*sighs*

(Joe) are you kidding? Can you imagine how boring life would be around here if you were just like Nick *pretends to snore*

(Bailey) *giggles* thanks Joey, even so, I’m sorry …

(Joe) for what?

(Bailey) *shrugs* just a blanket apology…I’ve done a lot I’m sorry for

(Joe) *chuckles* apology accepted Monkey *kisses B on top of the head*

*Mom walks into the room*

(Joe) *looks at Mom with a big grin* Mom! Lookie what I found! She is soooo cute! Can we keep her? She’s already sorta housetrained, She can bunk with me and I promise I’ll clean up after her! Pretty Please.

(Mom) *chuckles* Very funny Joseph. Of course she can stay, in fact, I don’t see her leaving this house for a very very long time.

(Joe) Uh Oh . . .that’s my cue to leave. Good luck with that… remember B, you’re the best sister I’ve ever had.

(Bailey) *giggles* I’m the only sister you’ve ever had, dork!

(Joe) the only one that Mom has let me keep *evil grin*

*Joe hops up and grabs Miley’s hand pulling her up from the couch before they both disappear into the media room*

 *Mom walks over and takes a seat next to B on the couch*

(Mom) did you take it out?

(Bailey) yes

(Mom) let me see

(Bailey) you don’t trust me?

(Mom) *cocks a brow* do you REALLY think you are in a position to be questioning my trust in you?

*B sighs and pulls up her shirt showing mom her ring free bellybutton*

(Mom) *nods* good, Have you and Nick worked things out yet?

(Bailey)  depends…if by working it out you mean him basically telling me I didn’t deserve forgiveness and that he no longer was here for me, than yep…we totally worked it out.

(Mom) *sighs* that’s not at all what I mean

(Bailey) oh, well then…no

(Mom) *shakes head in disapproval* alright, well, your father has been on the phone all day trying to put out the PR fires that your little article has caused and he is not too happy at the moment so I would suggest steering clear of him, as for punishment, you are grounded until further notice, you go nowhere, no one comes over, no phone and that includes borrowing one from your brothers…You will also be doing extra chores around here while serving your time and you will go upstairs and apologize to your brother for taking advantage of him and lying to him when he was in charge.

(Bailey) *groans* yes Ma’am

*Bailey walks upstairs, hesitantly knocking on Kevin’s door before he yells for her to enter.*

(Kevin) you made it home I see

(Bailey) *nods and walks in taking a seat on Kevin’s bed* and according to Mom I won’t be leaving the house again for a very long time.

(Kevin) Good...you deserve every bit of that punishment.

(Bailey) *sighs* Kev I’m sorry I took advantage of the fact that you were in charge and lied to you about where I was going and what I was doing. It was selfish of me and I’m so sorry.

(Kevin) That apology would sound great B if this were the first time you had done something like this…but you do this all the time, in fact every time I have been put in charge you put me in this type of position…sorry just isn’t enough this time, you no longer have my trust, and one thing I am damn sure of is you won't be going anywhere next time I am put in charge.

(Bailey) *in tears* I’m not sure what more you want me to say. I should have just stayed in that tree house because obviously no one wants me here anymore.

*B walks out of Kevin’s room, walking across the hall to her room and slamming her door shut before throwing herself face down onto the bed*

*Door opens and B doesn’t even bother to raise her head*

 (Bailey) Go away Nicholas . . . .

(Nick) *walking into the room* You can’t just say you are sorry and expect everything to be ok again Bailey, we are all sick of your shit.

(Bailey) I get it alright! You have all made it very clear that you are pissed and that I can’t fix it. I wish you would have just kept your mouth shut about where I was, you clearly don’t want me here. Is this what you want? For me to be miserable? Congratulations, you got your wish *visible tears rolling down her face* now get the hell out of my room.
