Days has passed reaching the end of semestral break. I don't feel any excitement dahil alam kong simula nanaman ng paghihirap ko. I do study hard but it doesn't mean na I love studying. I'm just doing it for the sake of my image.
As I was doing my make-up, the door of my room suddenly opened and I don't have to guess who was that. After all, my sister is the only one I know who knows how to knock. Note the sarcasm there.
"What do you want, Trixie? " Tanong ko habang nakatalikod sa kanya at nakaharap sa salamin.
"Goin' somewhere?" She asked while crossing her arms and looking at me habang nakataas ang kaliwa niyang kilay. Nakatalikod ako sa kanya pero tinitignan ko siya sa salamin and yeah, I know that she hates me by the way she looks at me and the feeling is mutual so I looked at her the same as she did.
"Do I look like I'll just stay here looking all pretty as this?"
"Good, I'll take that answer as yes. Don't come home early." Napatigil ako sa ginagawa ko at humarap sa kanya.
"At bakit naman?" I crossed my arms. She grinned and I hate that.
"Mom and Dad are coming home."
"I know about that."
"We will have dinner tonight but fortunately you have somewhere to go. That's great! You don't have to come with us! You can party all night so you don't have to worry. Ako na ang bahala na mag isip ng idadahilan." Lalabas na sana siya pero tumigil siya saglit, "By the way, we'll eat outside so we're not home in case you came early." Kumunot bigla ang noo ko sa narinig ko.
"What?!"
"You're welcome li'l sis." I didn't have time to protest when she suddenly got out and closed the door.
