Sorry for the wait! {In my Tunechi voice} ~Key
Isaiah had left by the time I got downstairs the next morning, and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I at least expected him to stay for breakfast. We wouldn't be going to morning service since Mia got in so late, so I really didn't have anything to do. I walked into the kitchen and she was at the table in her robe, drinking a cup of coffee.
"Good morning." She yawned.
"Good morning. How was the party?" I smiled.
"It was okay. We all had a good time."
"I was half asleep, but you looked beautiful!" I didn't get to see her before she left because I was with Dashawn. That thought brought a smile to my face.
"Thank you. How was the movie?" She asked.
"It was great! Dashawn is such a gentleman." I smiled.
Yeah I saw the flowers. Why was there a one rose and a bouquet of tulips though?"
"Well, Dashawn gave me the rose and Isaiah gave me the tulips." I answered, blushing a little.
"Oh, how sweet." She smiled. "How was dinner?"
"It was wonderful. Even though Isaiah was scared to try the food. Can you believe that?" I laughed.
"You did a very good job. I ate some last night before I went to bed." She yawned again.
"What are you doing up so early?"
"I had to lock the door when Zay left. What all did you two do last night?" I told her about the hilarious people I met at the studio. "Have you ever heard any of his music? Well, other than the song they played before the game."
"Yeah, he's spit few flows for me." She chuckled. I just rolled my eyes and shook my head at her. Mia was such a trip sometimes. "By the way, you two looked so cute last night! He had his arm around you and your hand was on his chest. I couldn't help but take a picture."
"Aunt Mia, you didn't!" I gasped. Why would she do that?
"No, Jazzy, I didn't, but I was tempted." She laughed. "Well, I'm about to go lay down. Can you take care of breakfast for yourself?" Whew.
"I think I can handle breakfast. I may need your help with lunch though." I smirked.
While Mia went upstairs, I took the eggs, butter, and milk out of the fridge. After scrambling a few eggs and doing some bacon on the George Foreman grill, I ate before going upstairs to take a shower. By ten, I was laying in my bed, comfortable in a pair of sweats and thick socks. I turned on my tv and started surfing the channels. My phone vibrated indicating I had a text, and when I looked, I saw that I had two. One from Bianca and the other one was from Dashawn. I forgot to text Bianca back last night, so I opened her message first.
That was a gr8 convo we had last night. U kno da 1 when u called me back after u left da studio
I decided that I would call her instead of text, so I opened Dashawn's message.
Hey pretty lady. Hru? G.O.A.T
I'm good handsome man. Hru?
Hey, if he was complimenting me, it was only right to return the sentiment.
Str8. U busy? G.O.A.T
Bout to call Bianca. But I can call you when we get off. If you want
Pls do! G.O.A.T
I called Bianca and she answered on the first ring.
"So what did you do all day yesterday? Other than go to the studio with Isaiah?" She asked.
