10. Food Fight

Y/N's POV
Once Joey got all of his things packed up, we got in his car and drove home. It was a pretty quiet drive. I was just trying to comprehend what just happened but while I was thinking, Joey grabbed my hand and broke me out of my thought. I decided to turn on the radio and just put it on a low volume. I kind of got sleepy and dozed off. Next thing I knew I was being shaken lightly by Joey.
Joey: "Wake up sleepy baby"
Y/N: *mumbles*
Joey chuckled.
Joey: "Do I have to carry my baby into the house?"
Y/N: *nods head yes*
Joey then went over to my door undid my seat belt, picked me up gently and carefully and shut the car door behind him. He carried me to our apartment, he managed to open and close the door and walked into our bedroom. He set me down on the bed and covered me up. He walked over to the other side of the bed, got under the covers and laid down facing me.
Joey: "What an eventful day. Huh?"
Y/N: "Yeah I think we deserve a nap"
Joey: "Yeah I'm kind of sleepy anyways"
Joey wrapped his arms around me and pulled me close to him. It felt nice, his body was warm and comforting. Joey eventually drifted to sleep and I didn't realize until I looked up and saw him sleeping. I decided I should try and go to sleep, once I closed my eyes I fell asleep almost immediately. I woke up to Joey getting off the bed. Joey looked over at me
Joey: "Oh sorry did I wake you up hun?"
Y/N: "Yeah but it's ok, I should get up anyways"
Joey: What do you want to do for dinner?"
Y/N: "I could make dinner"
Joey: "Ok I'll help you, though"
Y/N: "Ok"
I smiled at him. I got out of bed and went to the kitchen. Joey was following me to the kitchen.
Y/N: "So I was planning on making pizza, is that ok?"
Joey: "Yeah let's do it"
I started to get the things we need out. I started to make the dough.
Y/N: "Joey can you get me four cups of flour?"
Joey: "Yeah of course"
Little did I know he had a devious plan to put flour all over me but he did take out four cups and put it in the mixing bowl. Then he took a handful and wiped it all over my face.
Joey: "Oops my hand slipped"
He smirked evilly at me.
Y/N: "I freaking hate you"
Joey: "Nah, you love me"
Y/N: "......"
I had grabbed the jar of pizza sauce and quickly opened it Joey had no idea what I was doing. I shoved my hand into the jar and got Joey's attention
Y/N: "Joey?"
Joey: "Yeah baby"
Y/N: "I need your help"
Joey came over. I pointed towards the recipe that was on the counter.
Y/N: "So the recipe calls-"
I quickly turned around to face him and rubbed pizza sauce all over his face. Joey was taken by surprise.
Joey: "Ok I deserved that, I think you deserve a kiss for that"
As soon as I heard him say that I darted out of the kitchen. Joey was chasing after me, I was running towards our room but before I could get in the doorway, Joey grabbed me and swept me off of my feet. He was holding me tightly so I couldn't move out of his reach. Then he kissed all over my face so that I would get pizza sauce all over my face. We were both laughing so hard Joey then brought me back into the kitchen and set me on the counter
Joey: "Uhh Y/N you got a little something on your face"
Y/N: "Yeah so do you"
I chuckled at him. Joey leaned in and kissed my lips.
Joey: "Come on let's get you cleaned up"
Joey picked me up bridal style, carried me to the bathroom and sat me on the toilet. Then he grabbed a roll of paper towels from the cupboard and ripped off pieces of paper towels. Got them wet and cleaned my face off. I did the same thing for Joey. We then walked back to the kitchen and got back to making a pizza.
Y/N: "Ok no more slapping things in each other's faces"
Joey: "Deal"
We both giggled.

Time skip to after you made the pizza

Once me and Joey were done making pizza we decided to eat our pizza and watch Netflix. After we were done eating we decided to go to bed we were both tired from what had happened that day.

Next day

Joey's POV
I woke up to an empty bed. I got up, grabbed a pair of sweatpants and put them on. I walked out of our bedroom, as I was walking down the hallway I heard singing from the kitchen. I stepped into the doorway and saw Y/N dancing and singing. She then spun around and stopped when she saw me. The look on her face was the most adorable face I've ever seen. She looked at me so shocked.
Y/N: "Umm heyyyy. How long have you been standing there?"
Joey: "Don't worry I haven't been standing here long"
Y/N: "Ok"
Y/N turned back around to what she was making. I came up behind her, wrapped my arms around her waist and kissed her neck. I rested my head on the crook of her neck.
Joey: "What are you making?"
Y/N: "Just the typical eggs and bacon"
Joey: "I see"
Y/N: "So what are you going to do about the office thing?"
Joey: "I don't know, I guess we will see what the day brings"
Y/N: "Yeah, I guess"
After me and Y/N were done breakfast we got ready to go to the office. Honestly, I'm nervous to go. I'm afraid of what they will think of me after yesterday. We got into the car and drove to the space.
Joey: "Y/N, I'm a little nervous after what happened yesterday"
Y/N: "Oh Joey, don't worry hun. They are like your brothers and some of them actually are your brothers"
Joey: "Yeah you're right, I shouldn't be worried"
Y/N then kissed me on the cheek. I smiled at her.
Joey: "Thanks, baby"
After that, I wasn't worried at all. Y/N is awesome, she makes me feel comfortable and she made me not worry about it. As soon as I knew it we were at the warehouse. I got out of the car and Y/N grabbed my hand. We walked into the space and went up to my office. Y/N did the rule I set for my office and walked in. I had to do work on my computer, I felt a little bad because I didn't really talk to Y/N when I was working but I don't think she minds. She does work with us now and I believe she's editing her first video for Team Edge. By the time we were both done our work on our computers, it was about 1:00.
Joey: "Do you want to go get lunch?"
Y/N: "Yeah sure"
Joey: "Ok and I think we should get you an actual computer instead of you working on a laptop also we can get you a desk and we can put it in here"
Y/N: "Joey do you know how expensive that will be?"
Joey: "Yea and that's why I'm paying"
Y/N: "Umm no you are not"
Joey: "Yeah"
Y/N: "Joey, no you're not"
Joey: "Yeah I am"
Y/N: "No. How about I'll pay to get the desk and I will get an actual computer later"
Joey: "Fine but I get to pay half on the computer"
Y/N shook her head and sighed.
Y/N: "Ok but that's the only thing you're paying for"
Joey: "Ok deal"
Me and Y/N went out lunch and to go buy a desk. We went back to the space and did some more work. Before I knew it we could go home. As we were driving home I decided to stop for dinner. After we got our dinner we drove the rest of the way home. When we got home we ate our dinner and watched movies for the rest of the night.
