28. Hungover

Y/N's POV
I woke up with a pounding headache and my stomach was churning. I looked over to the side where Joey would be but he wasn't there. I quickly got up and immediately regret doing that. I almost passed out. I threw on a sweater and slowly walked downstairs and into the kitchen. I sat down at the table and put my head down on the tabletop.
Joey: "Morning angel. Are you hungover?"
Y/N: "Yup... I don't even remember what happened last night"
I lifted my head to look at Joey.
Joey: "Oh... I'll explain what happened later"
Y/N: "Was it bad?"
Joey: "Meh"
Y/N: "Oh my god"
I set my head back down on the table and put my hood up so I could hide my face. Joey walked over to me.
Joey: "It's ok Y/N. I love you anyways"
He pulled the hood off of my head and kissed the side of my face. He went back over to the stove. I slowly got up and grabbed a glass of water. As I was doing so, Gunner came into the kitchen.
Gunner: "Hey guys"
I was confused. Why was Gunner here? Joey must've seen my face because he informed me.
Joey: "I let him stay the night, I wasn't going to let him drive home"
Y/N: "Oh"
Gunner sat down at the table.
Y/N: "Do you want a glass of water Gunner?"
Gunner: "Sure"
I grabbed a glass and filled it up. I handed to him and he smiled at me.
Gunner: "Thanks"
Y/N: "No problem. You're in better shape than me"
Gunner chuckled.
Gunner: "Well I go to parties pretty often and I usually end up drinking"
Y/N: "Oh I see. I don't drink that often so today is going to be hell for me"
Joey: "Don't worry Y/N I'll take care of you today"
Y/N: "We have to go to work right?"
Joey: "Yeah"
I sighed.
Y/N: "Today's going to be a great day"
Joey and Gunner chuckled.
Joey: "I told Matthias you probably won't be doing much today"
Y/N: "I'll try to do as much as possible"
Joey: "Just take it easy today ok?"
Joey handed me and Gunner breakfast.
Y/N: "Thank you, Joe Fish"
Gunner: "Thanks, Joe Fish"
Y/N: "Are you making fun of me?"
Gunner: "Nooooo"
Y/N: "Ok Gunie Wonie"
Gunner gave me a death stare. I gave him a winning smile. Gunner shook his head. Joey sat down at the table with us and ate breakfast. When we were finished eating, we got ready to leave. I quickly took a shower and packed my bag with the things I needed. Then we left. When we got to the office only Matt was there. Joey talked to Matt. I went upstairs to start doing work. Joey came in and sat down at his desk. I worked for an hour or so but I was really sleepy and my head started to hurt a lot. I rested my head on my hand. Joey noticed.
Joey: "Hey baby are you tired?"
Y/N: "Yeah and I have a headache"
Joey: "You can take a nap on the couch. I can turn it into a bed"
Y/N: "Ok"
I got up and Joey moved the couch into a bed.
Joey: "I also brought these"
He said holding out a bottle of Advil.
Y/N: "Thank you so much, Joey"
Joey smiled his handsome smile at me.
Joey: "No problem baby. Also, I brought this"
He handed me a blanket.
Y/N: "Wow Joey, you were ready for this"
Joey: "Yup cause I love you"
Y/N: "I love you too"
I got onto the couch/bed. I made myself comfortable. Joey came over and covered me up.
Y/N: "Thank you, Joe Fish"
Joey: "No problem, angel"
Joey kissed my cheek then went back to his desk. I went on my phone for a bit but eventually drifted off to sleep. Next thing I knew, Joey got under the blankets and wrapped his arms around my waist. After he did that I fell back asleep.

Joey's POV
As I was cuddling with Y/N. Matthias walked in unannounced.
Matt: "Oh sorry"
He said whispering.
Joey: "Its ok she's just sleeping. What's up?"
Matthias: "I need you to come downstairs"
Joey: "Ok hold on a sec"
Matt: "Ok"
Matt left and closed the door behind him. I got up quietly and kissed Y/N's cheek. I walked downstairs.
Joey: "What's up?"
Matt: "I need you to do "Kindergarten crafts with Mike"
He said singing the last part of the sentence.
Joey: "Aright"

Y/N's POV
I woke up feeling a lot better. I got up and went downstairs to organize the warehouse. As cleaning up Gunner came in.
Gunner: "Hey Y/N. How are you feeling?"
Y/N: "I'm feeling better"
Gunner: "That's good"
Gunner began to help me clean. Once we were finished we just chilled in the warehouse and talked. Gunner was cracking jokes the whole time.
Y/N: "We should probably go see what the guys are doing"
Gunner: "Yeah probably"
We both got up and went into the office to see what the guys were doing. They were obviously done their craft. Everyone else was in their office. Which meant Joey was in his office. Gunner went to do his own thing and I ran upstairs to see Joey. I knocked.
Joey: "Come in"
I walked in.
Y/N: "Hey Hun. What are you up to?"
Joey: "Just doing a thumbnail. Are you feeling better?"
Y/N: "Yeah a lot better"
Joey: "Good"
I sat down at my desk and started to edit a video. When I was finished, I went to sit beside Joey.
Joey: "I'll be right back"
Y/N: "Ok"
I turned around and saw a sticker behind the TV. (If you've seen the video with Matthias putting stickers all around Joey's office you would get it) I chuckled.
Y/N: "Oh Matthias"
I took the sticker off of the wall. Then I looked down at Joey's desk leg and there was, of course, a sticker there. I took that one off too and threw them out. I started to pack up my things.

Joey's POV
I walked downstairs to grab something out of the warehouse but Mike stopped me.
Mike: "Hey Joey, are you staying after work to do gaming night?"
Joey: "I would but I have something planed with Y/N"
Mike: "What are you doing?"
Joey: "I wanna take her skating"
Mike: "Oh nice. Have fun"
Joey: "Thanks, Mike"
I forgot what I was going to get from the warehouse. I went back upstairs.

Y/N's POV
Joey came in.
Joey: "You ready to go?"
Y/N: "Almost"
Me and Joey packed up our things and left. When I got in the car, Joey spoke:
Joey: "We aren't going straight home"
Y/N: "Why?"
Joey: "You'll find out"
I sighed
Joey: "Don't worry you'll like it"
Y/N: "Ok"
Joey grabbed my hand and held it during the drive. When we arrived at our destination, I got out and waited for Joey. I was excited. Joey grabbed my hand and we walked to the entrance. When I walked in, the cool air hit my body. We went up to the counter and rented our skates. Joey of course payed for my skates even though I said I would pay for mine. As I was putting on my skates, I saw Evan the guy that kissed me at the party. "I should have known he plays hockey" I thought to myself. Honestly I was nervous I hadn't been on skates in a few years. When we got our skates on, we went on the ice. Joey was skating around like he did it yesterday. I was looking at him with my mouth open. Joey chuckled at me. I began to move I could skate pretty good but not like I used to. Joey was skating backwards looking at me to make sure I was ok. I stumbled but Joey caught me. We both laughed.
Joey: "I don't know Y/N. I think I can skate better than you"
Y/N: "No... just give me few minutes"
I skated around the rink a few times, then got the hang of it again.
Y/N: "Ok I think I'm good now"
Joey: "We'll see"
Joey went skating off in front of me. I quickly caught up to him. Once we did a lap around the rink, we stopped to catch our breath.
Joey: "I'm impressed"
Y/N: "Thanks. I didn't think you could skate"
Joey: "I used to skate a lot actually"
Y/N: "We should go skating more often"
Joey: "We should, it's fun"
Unknown: "You can skate pretty good"
I turned around to see Evan in front of me.
Y/N: "Thanks"
Joey got all protective. He put his arm around me and pulled me close to him.
Evan: "Me and you should play hockey together"
Joey: "No way in hell you're playing hockey with her"
Evan: "I don't believe you were in the conversation"
Y/N: "Excuse me, Evan. That's my boyfriend you're talking to. Besides I would beat your ass in hockey"
Evan: "You wanna bet?"
Y/N: "Yeah"
Evan: "Ok then it's settled you find yourself a team and I'll bring my team. We'll meet here on Friday"
Y/N: "Ok see you then"
Evan skated off. 
Joey: "I'll be on you're team"
Y/N: "Ok"
Joey: "Just so I have a reason to beat his butt"
I chuckled at him. Me and Joey skated around for a few hours. It was around 8:00 when we stopped skating. We went home and I made dinner. We ended up watching Joey's basketball game and we fell asleep on the couch.
