32. Make up

Joey's POV
I was talking to Hannah. I could tell she was flirting with me but I didn't want to be rude. Y/N must've seen us talking because I saw her storm over towards the front door with a backpack.
Joey: "Where are you going?"
Y/N: "Somewhere away from you guys"
She slammed the door shut. I turn my attention towards the front window and saw Y/N pull out of the driveway and drive off. I turned my attention back to Hannah. We were both shocked at what just happened.
Joey: "Great now she's mad at me"
Hannah put her hand on my shoulder.
Hannah: "It's ok Joey. Let's go watch some TV together"
Me and Hannah both went into the living room. I turned on the TV so we could watch a basketball game.

Y/N's POV
I knocked on Gunner's front door. He answered it almost immediately.
Gunner: "Hey Y/N"
Y/N: "Hey"
Gunner: "Come on in"
I walked in and looked around. He house was very neat and tidy.
Gunner: "Welcome to my crib"
I snickered
Gunner: "I'll show you around. Come on"
I followed Gunner into the kitchen.
Gunner: "This is my kitchen. There is my dining room"
He said pointing to it.
Gunner: "I don't use it very often but you know"
I then followed him to his living room.
Gunner: "Here is my living room where I chill most of the time. Now follow me to see where the magic happens"
I followed Gunner upstairs into his room.
Gunner: "This is where you will be staying tonight and I sleep on the couch ehem I mean on my big fluffy king sized bed in the next room"
Y/N: "Oh yeah whatever you say, Gunner"
Gunner moved aside to let me in the room. I saw snacks like chips, chocolate, and candy sprawled out on the bed.
Gunner: "All of those snacks and stuff on the bed are for you"
Y/N: "Really?!?"
Gunner: "Yup"
He said while smiling at me.
Y/N: "Thank you so much, Gunner"
I tackled him with a hug. Gunner gladly hugged me back
Gunner: "You've had a rough night so you deserve it"
We pulled away.
Y/N: "Thank you so much"
Gunner: "Go relax ok? Call me if you need anything"
Y/N: "Ok, again thank you, Gunner"
Gunner: "No problem"

Joey's POV
After we watched the basketball game, we both decided to head to bed. I got the guest room set up for Hannah and I went into my room. I laid down and fell asleep. A few hours later I felt I dip in the bed. I sleepily opened my eye and saw Hannah. She leaned over me.
Joey: "What are you do-"
I got cut off as Hannah's lips crashed into mine. I was shocked I didn't know what to do for a second. I finally realized what was happening and moved her off of me. I quickly got out of bed.
Hannah: "I was just getting the best part"
I paused trying to comprehend. Then found my words. 
Joey: "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?"
Hannah: "What?"
Joey: "YOU JUST KISSED ME"
Hannah: "So?"
Joey: "YOU THINK IM OK WITH THAT? I would never cheat on my girlfriend like that"
Hannah: "I-"
Joey: "Hannah you need to leave"
I walked out of my room, we didn't speak a word to each other. I watched her walk through the front door. I locked the front door behind her and went back to bed. I got in bed and turned the light off. I laid awake staring at the ceiling. "Y/N probably hates me so much right now" "She could be cheating on me" "She could be dead and I wouldn't even know"
The last thought scared me. I began to panic. I tried to call her but I kept getting her answering machine. I called Matt.

Matt: "Hello?"
Joey: "Hey Matt it's me, Joey"
Matt: "Dude its midnight"
Joey: "I know. I was just wondering if Y/N was at your house"
Matt: "No she's not here why?"
Joey: "Well Y/N got mad at me because I talked to Hannah more than her or something"
Matt: "Oh well no she's not here"
Joey: "Ok"
Matt: "Sorry. Try to go to sleep man"
Joey: "Ok I'll try. Have a good night bro"
Matt: "Have a good night"

I hung up the phone then called Gunner.

Gunner: "Hey Joey"
Joey: "Hey I was wondering if Y/N was at your house"
Gunner: "Yeah she is and I don't think she wants to talk to you right now"
Joey: "That's ok I just need to know that she is safe"
Gunner: "Yeah she's safe"
Joey: "Ok. I'll probably stop by tomorrow afternoon"
Gunner: "Ok"
Joey: "Ok have a good night and tell Y/N I love her so much and that I am truly sorry"
Gunner: "Ok. Have a good night"
Joey: "Bye"

I hung up the phone and stared out the window that was near our bed. I eventually fell asleep.

Y/N's POV
I couldn't fall asleep for the life of me. Thoughts kept going through my head like: "What if he doesn't love me?" "He could be cheating on me right now" I tried to get my mind off of those things so I went on my phone. I could hear Gunner up downstairs. I put my headphones in and listened to music on low volume. A few hours passed and I couldn't get those thoughts out of my mind. I laid there staring at the blank ceiling. I didn't even hear Gunner come in. I took my headphones out.
Gunner: "Why aren't you sleeping?"
Y/N: "I couldn't fall asleep. I kept having bad thoughts about Joey"
Gunner: "Oh well actually Joey called me"
Gunner paused.
Gunner: "He wanted me to tell you that he loves you and that he is truly sorry"
Y/N: "Did he really say that?"
Gunner: "Yeah. He loves you Y/N"
Y/N: "Its just this Hannah girl"
Gunner: "She sounds like a real bitch but you can't let her break you down. You're a wonderful girl Y/N"
I looked down and blushed. Gunner grabbed my hand to get my attention. I looked back up at him.
Gunner: "So don't let anyone tell you otherwise"
Y/N: "Ok"
Gunner leaned back to bring his legs up and sat crosslegged.
Gunner: "So what is your plan for tomorrow?"
Y/N: "I'm going to show Joey how much I love him"
Gunner: "Sounds like a good plan. I'll let you go to sleep"
Y/N: "Ok have a good sleep Gunner"
Gunner: "You too"
Gunner shut the door and I turned off the light. As soon as my head hit the pillow, I fell asleep.

Joey's POV
I woke up at 11:00. I got up and got dressed. I made my way downstairs and I fed Cali and gave her new water. I put my jacket on and I grabbed the keys to my bike. I went out to the garage and put on my helmet then drove over to Gunner's house. When I arrived I knocked on the door and Gunner answered it within a few seconds.
Gunner: "Hey Y/N's sleeping"
He said whispering
Joey: "Ok"
I walked in and took off my helmet.
Gunner: "She's upstairs in my room"
Joey: "Ok thank you for taking care of her"
Gunner: "No problem"
I walked upstairs quietly. I opened the door slowly to see my sleeping beauty in a ball of blankets. I walked over to the side of the bed and gently sat down on the bed. I put my arm on her shoulder and shook her lightly.
Joey: "Y/N wake up angel"
She turned over and opened her eyes. Once she saw me, she immediately engulfed me in a hug and kissed me on the cheek.
Y/N: "I'm sorry for freaking out"
Joey: "Its ok. It's my fault for being so blind to her flirting"
Y/N pulled me down so that I was lying down beside her. We cuddled for a little bit. Then Gunner came in.
Gunner: "I'm assuming you guys made up"
Joey: "Yeah"
Gunner: "Good I'm glad"
Y/N: "I should probably get dressed"
Joey: "Ok, me and Gunner will leave you to do that then"
I got up from the bed shut the door behind me.

Y/N's POV
I quickly got dressed and walked down stairs. Joey and Gunner were on the couch talking to each other.
Y/N: "Hey guys"
Joey and Gunner: "Hey Y/N"
Y/N: "We should probably head home Joey"
Joey: "Yeah"
Joey walked behind me and kissed my cheek then made his way outside to put his bike in the car. I was still inside with Gunner.
Y/N: "Thank you so much Gunner for letting me stay at your house"
Gunner: "No problem. You're welcome here anytime"
Me and Gunner hugged each other.
Y/N: "I should get going. I'll see you on Monday"
Gunner: "Bye"
I went out to the car and got in.
Joey: "What took you so long?"
Joey said jokingly.
Y/N: "Oh shut up"
I said chuckling. While we were driving home, Joey grabbed my hand.
Joey: "Listen Y/N"
He said not taking his eyes off the road.
Y/N: "What's up"
Joey: "While you were gone last night"
He paused.
Y/N: "Yes?"
Joey: "Me and Hannah watched basketball and then we went to bed. I fell asleep for a few hours then Hannah came into our room and got on the bed. I didn't really notice then..."
He paused again.
Joey: "She kissed me"
Y/N: "WHAT?"
