37. Roadtrip?!?

Y/N's POV
I sat down at my desk.
Y/N: "Why is everyone acting weird?"
Joey: "I don't know"
Joey said scratching the back of his neck. I just shrugged it off and went to work. I edited a video then got called downstairs by Matt to be a part of a Battle Universe video. It was like a hide and seek video. I had to wait out in the warehouse.

Joey's POV
I heard Matt call Y/N down to do a nerf battle for Battle Universe. I took this as my chance to go back home and get a few things. When I heard the warehouse door close Matt came up and told me to leave now because she wouldn't see me. I quickly went and grabbed the keys to the car and ran downstairs to our car that was in the front of the building. I got in the car and drove home. When I got home I put the suitcases and the stuff we needed in the car. I'm hoping I will make it to the studio before they're done their nerf battle. I made sure I had everything then left. When I arrived they had just finished and cleaned up the nerf bullets.
Y/N: "Where did you go?"
Joey: "I just went home to grab a few things"
Y/N: "Oh ok"
Joey: "Did you have fun filming the nerf battle?"
Y/N: "Yeah it was fun"
Joey: "Good"
Me and Y/N walked back upstairs to my office. The day went by pretty fast. It was now time to go home. Me and Y/N got in the car and I started to drive.

Y/N's POV
Joey was kind of acting weird the whole day. While we were driving he missed the street we turn onto to go home.
Y/N: "Joey, you missed the street"
Joey: "I know"
Y/N: "What are you doing?"
Joey: "You'll see"
Y/N: "Are you kidnapping me?"
I said jokingly
Joey: "Maybe"
He said chuckling a little bit after it.
Y/N: "Well it's not kidnapping if I don't object to it"
Joey: "I guess so"
Y/N: "Where are we going?"
Joey: "You'll find out soon"
I sat in my seat and waited patiently.
Y/N: "Can I at least listen to my music?"
Joey: "Yeah of course"
I hooked up my phone to the speakers and played my music.

Time Skip

A couple of hours have passed and the sun was starting to set. I looked out the window at the passing trees and realized we won't be stopping anytime soon. I rested my head on Joey's shoulder. I wanted to ask him where we were going but I knew he wouldn't budge. So I just stayed silent for most of the ride. We drove past a sign "Now leaving Los Angeles". I questioned what Joey was doing but I knew he would do nothing to hurt me so I just ignored it. We kept on driving until it was 9:00 we took a break and stopped at a grocery store to get something to eat. We both got out of the car. Joey held his hand out for me to hold. As we were walking into the store I asked him
Y/N: "So you're not going to tell me where we're going eh?"
Joey: "Yup it's a secret"
Y/N: "But we don't even have any clothes or anything"
Joey stayed silent. We walked to the premade food section.
Joey: "What do you want to eat?"
Y/N: "I don't know"
Me and Joey looked for what we wanted. We both grabbed a sandwich.
Joey: "I will tell you though we are staying somewhere tonight"
Y/N: "Ok so we need to get food and stuff then right?"
Joey: "Yup"
We walked around the store and just bought snacks. Once we checked out we both walked to the car. Joey went and sat in the front. I opened the trunk to put the groceries away. I was surprised at what I saw. I saw 4 suitcases, a cooler and random bags of stuff. I put the groceries in the cooler just cause. I was excited to see what was going to happen in the next few days. I got in the car and handed Joey his sandwich. We both ate then went back to driving. We drove for another hour or so. I closed my eyes for a few minutes then when I opened them back up. When I opened them I could see nothing but darkness and a little bit of the dirt road ahead of us. We were in the middle of nowhere Joey pulled up beside a little log cabin.
Joey: "We're here. This is where we will be staying for tonight"
Y/N: "Awesome. I'm excited"
Me and Joey got out of the car.
We both met at the trunk to get our suitcases out.
Y/N: "So who's taking care of Cali while we're gone?"
Joey: "Connor. Don't worry"
Y/N: "Ok"
Me and Joey both took one of our suitcases out of the trunk and brought it into the cabin. When I walked in it felt warming. It kind of creeped me out that we were in the middle of nowhere.
Y/N: "So there's no one near us?"
Joey: "Nope just you and me"
Y/N: "Ok"
Joey: "So no one will hear you scream"
