« Chapter 38- Learning More at Camp »
Titus' P.O.V
I was sleeping peacefully when I felt myself roll off and my face having contact with a wooden surface. That's just when, I realized I rolled out of bed, or more like, fall out of bed. Ouch. My back hurts. I sat up and rubbed my back when I felt something shifted beside me. Looking up, I saw Nee-chan looking out the window.
"Morning, Nee-chan," I groggily said as she just nodded. Maybe she's making a report or maybe she was checking something out the window.
"Hurry up, Titus. You're already late," Nee-chan said as I stood up and fixed myself up. "Hurry up!"
"On it!" I ran out the cabin with Nee-chan and we started walking around town in silence until...
"Good morning, Titus-kun and Hazel-chan!" Sarah startled me and I almost tripped backwards. Nee-chan just ignored Sarah and kept on walking. Woah, she really don't like Sarah does she? "Aww, is your sister always like that?"
"Well...yeah, she is," I replied as we continued walking behind Nee-chan.
"Oh, really? Anyway, how old are you? By your height you seem to be 18," Sarah asked as I nervously laughed. She's getting too close to me. Uncomfortably close.
"Eehh...I'm 15," I said taking steps away from Sarah.
"Really?! You're tall for a fifteen-year-old. What's your favorite color?"
"Ugh..."
"What's your favorite food?"
"Well-"
"Do you like someone?"
"What's your type in girls?"
"How tall are you when you're a titan?"
"What's---"
"Titus," I turned my attention to Nee-chan and so as Sarah, "Let's go see Harry. I want to talk to him."
"Eehhh?! You want to talk to Uncle Harry?! He's busy right now so--"
"I don't care. I need to confirm my thoughts," Nee-chan said and glanced over to us "Sarah. Since you know this camp like the back of your hand, why don't you lead to your so-called Uncle."
Nee-chan was glaring more intently today. Woops! What made her so angry lately? The looks in her eyes are deadly. And it was delivered to Sarah. Oh, I was told by Hange-san that Nee-chan really....really don't like talkative people and Sarah is no exception.
"But--" Sarah was cut off when she noticed how deadly Nee-chan's aura is, "O-Okay. Follow me!"
Sarah started leading us to Uncle Harry's cabin, but as expected. We can't keep her mouth shut and Nee-chan is doing her best to keep her fist from slamming straight into her face.
"When I was a kid, my mother would always teach me how to ride a horse, but sadly I always fall off and hurt myself so I never tried riding one again. And maybe you should too. You also fell off yesterday so you should stop riding horses. I told--"
"Are you going ever going to be quiet? Or do you want me to staple your mouth?" I flinched at the venomous voice my sister is giving out. Man, she's really annoyed, isn't she?
"Hmph! Why so grumpy? Be thankful I'm escorting you around the camp or--"
"Tch, yeah right. Like I'll need you. My brother needs your help more than me. I can find my way around this camp no problem," Nee-chan said coldly, sending Sarah her signature glare. Sarah started sweating, but by the looks of it, she doesn't want to let Nee-chan win over her.
