Hey brothers and sisters!

I was browsing YouTube and found this awesome guy, named Clayton Jennings, and let me just say - he is SO talented. I watched this video and immediately came up with something to say.

I hope you enjoy it.

Why didn't God do something?

Why didn't He stop this from happening to me?

Why did He let this happen to me if I'm supposed to be His loving daughter/son?

If He has all the power you say He has, why didn't He protect me from this injustice?

There are many questions when it comes to something bad happening to you, whether it's your parent's divorce, your own divorce, rape, abuse, bullying, loss or a traumatic experience, and let me tell you that it's normal to have questions, but never questions God's plan, God's will and God's power. God has a plan for your life and sometimes He'll let things happen to you to make you stronger and that maybe you could help someone with the same problem one day, that's how I see it.

When my parents got divorced, I was a small kid. I was 6. I didn't understand then, but it didn't bother me because my parents fought all the time and it didn't make any difference whether we lived together or apart, but as I looked back – I realise that I'm wiser because of it. I know things that my friends with married parents don't know. I understand and relate to things better than before.

My life could be a good example of patience, questions and doubts.

(I'm not saying that I'm perfect, but instead that I think my life story, so far, could help some people out there and that is why I am doing this.)

Throughout my life, I have been served many injustice offences, if I can put it that way. Maybe one day, I'll post my full testimony on here, but this is not the time for it.

The point of this whole part is that

GOD IS IN CONTROL and YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT ANYTHING!

God loves you and wants the best for you, and even when things go a little pear-shaped, He sticks with us. Now that's patience!

God isn't the bad guy in this life, Satan is. Satan will use your sins against you and called you by them, but God calls you by your name and He only sees the heart.

God is not against you, Satan is.

God is fighting for you, but so is Satan. They're fighting for you, but only YOU can make the final decision. You are either in the boat or you're not, there's no in between.

Satan will try to steal your happiness, kill your joy and destroy your faith. He's done it to me before and he'll definitely to it to you. But there's nothing to fear, because he has no power over you, if you have God on your side.

So never questions God's plan, for He has said:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and NOT TO HARM YOU. Plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11

"Jesus Said: You don't understand what I'm doing now, but someday you will." - John 13:7

"We can make our plans, but the Lord determines our steps." - Proverbs 16:9 (NLT version)

"God has a reason for allowing things to happen. We may never understand His wisdom, but we simply have to trust His will." - Psalm 37:5

"And we know that ALL THINGS work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." - Romans 8:28

Those are just four verse that I found about God's will and His plan for you, and let me tell you

HIS PLAN IS GOING TO BE GREAT! I can't wait to see what He has in store for you and me.

I hope this helped!
