Is it okay to want to look nice?
(See Ester 2:7, if you don't have a bible, there are bible apps on Playstore.)
Ester was beautiful. Plus she had twelve straight months of spa treatment (verse 12) - what a life! Then she won the Miss Persia contest and became queen. She had a lot of pressure to look nice all the time. But outer beauty must be balanced with inner beauty, and Ester won the crown in that contest too. She risked everything - being queen, her cushy lifestyle, even her life - in order to defend her people! That girl had character! It's OK to want to look nice, as long as our main focus is on what's truly important - loving God and loving others. Ester was obsessed with doing what was right, not with how she looked.
What about you?

Above is a advice column from my bible that I usually look up, called Is It OK?
I know that sometimes you look in the mirror and think that you're not good enough.
Well guess what, you're more than good enough!
Whether you realise it or not, there is a quality or talent inside of you that you might not have noticed before...
God created you -- and He makes no mistakes!
It doesn't matter if you had teen parents...
God created you for a reason and gave you to your parents for a reason.
I have a friend who wasn't a planned child -- and today he's the most committed Christian I know, because he believed that God didn't make a mistake when He made him.
What about you?
Do you believe that God made you for a reason?
Do you believe that He didn't make a mistake?
Because if you don't, I sincerely hope you will.
God Bless.
