Alright, I wasn't planning on writing tonight, but then something amazing happened.

I go to church twice a day, so in the morning and evening. I went to my evening service tonight, expecting to hear a good, solid word and to see all my adult friends (I say that because I am the only teenager in the church, literally).

But, God had other plans...

I arrived and there were only 20 people there, including me. Keep in mind my church has about 100/180 in the church or more. So it's not a massive church, but being only 20 there was still amazing!

We had three street people, who had given their lives to Jesus, in our church (they're lovely people) who gave their testimony of obedience. They spoke about how God had changed their lives and how much they love him and I was thinking, WOW. That's really awesome! Then someone other people gave their testimonies and I was like yeah, that's great.

Then someone completely out of the ordinary happened...

The pastor got up and asked, "Have you three been baptised?" gesturing to the three street people.

"I can't believe he said that..." the one man said from behind me.

It turned out he had just been told by God through the Holy Spirit that he should be baptised. The Word was given to the pastor and he asked.

Two out of the three street people weren't baptised.

"Alright, then let's go!" the pastor said, switching off his presentation and putting his computer away.

And I'm thinking... he's joking right?

He wasn't! So in a matter of minutes, we had a place and a time. My family doesn't come to my evening church, only the morning church, so I go alone. I got a lift with my father figure and a bunch of the 20 year olds that I'm besties with.

Literally, we're as close as blood family. I'm like their younger sister.

We headed off to the beach and it was crowded! Like CROWDED

"Great, witnesses!" we agreed and headed down the beach and the two men were baptised.

I couldn't help but smile and cheer for them for what they had just done. I remember that feeling. I was baptised on the 14th of February (yes, Valentine's Day) 2016 and I remember feeling so awesome the minute you come up from the water and I could see they felt it too.

What a great way to start the year, huh? Getting baptised on New Years Day. What a year to come!

Guys, that is what church is all about.

Church is not a building, it's the body within it.

Church a group of Christians praising GOD together - that's church!

I don't know about you, but that's GOD right there! He took those three people off the street and brought them into our tiny church and He's working in their lives. I have gained three more family members today, and heaven is rejoicing with me.

God Bless.
