Why Does God Allow Suffering?

(Hey guys! I know it's been a while, and I apologise for that. It's been a bit crazy at home and stuff, but here's a new chapter.)

So, why does God allow suffering?

There were three reasons:

- to grow your character

- to draw you closer to God

- and you have to be prepared to suffer under the name of Christ. Being a Christian isn't easy, and I'm sure you know that.

I can give you an example with this year. This year was really bad for me, meaning my Christian faith. I doubted, I backslid and I didn't trust God.

I instead, gave into everything: Depression, Anxiety, Self-Harm, Fear and Sin. I felt completely alone.

Recently, I've come back to Christ and I know Christ better than ever before. God allowed my suffering to happen, because he knew that afterwards I'd be much closer to Him than before. Things in character have grown, I know how to handle certain situations now and I didn't before. I've gained knowledge about the things I went through, and know I can help other people as well.

THANK YOU, LORD!

I read the bible everyday and I've only just realised how amazing prayer is.

Guys, we can talk to the God of the universe and it doesn't cost us anything! We take it for granted and not just Christians, but non-Christians as well. You know when you're watching a series and a character says,

"Oh dear Lord, please save me." or "I literally prayed to God, hoping he'd hear me."

Don't you see? People take prayer for granted everyday. I don't know about you, but I've become so close to God now that I actually truly believe that He is my friend. I can talk to Him about anything, and so can you.

Guys, God doesn't like seeing us go through trials and tough times, but He knows that He needs to. So He walks with us, holding our hand. You just need to open your eyes and know that He is there. You may not be able to understand what He's doing, but know that whatever is happening, is happening for a reason.

I hope this helped.

I know these parts are always quite short, just about 300 words. If you want them longer, please give me some feedback.

Comment if you want to share something or comment on something. I am open to correction or anything, so please do tell me.

Vote if this helped you (I hope it did)

Thanks for Reading, guys and girls!

God Bless and Merry Christmas for Sunday!

Love, Megs :)
