Hold Me Once More

I nodded and turned and began to run back to the darkness. Away from the light. Away from Samuel. Away from Mary. Away from Elizabeth and my brother with their baby. I ran away from my family. I ran towards love. I ran towards life. I ran towards Levi..

...

In the distance, faint sobs could be heard. I knew whom they were coming from, and I was ready to see them again. I slowly opened my eyes, light pouring into my vision, blinding me until a shadow casted over me. I saw him. I saw the love of my life. I saw Levi.

His eyes were wide and his breath was shaky,"(Y/n)...can you hear me..."

I nodded, not being able to form words, he looked up as a sigh of relief left his mouth,"Thank god!"

He kissed my forehead and looked over to someone I couldn't see,"Are you sure you're ok with doing this?" He asked.

Someone said yes and he turned back to me,"It's going to be ok (Y/n), this girl has offered to donate her organs to you, you'll make it."

I shook my head, holding Levi's hand, tears slowly falling from the pain and sorrow. He was shocked by my gesture and looked to the person I couldn't see,"N-never mind...you won't be needing to do that anymore.."

The person left and Levi looked back to me,"What am I going to do without you...I'll be lost without you (Y/n)...please let me help you."

I did my best to make words,"You..d-ont have t--"

"Yes I do Goddammit!" Levi yelled, his face morphing into one of anger.

I shook my head and brought his hand up to my lips, kissing it softly,"I'll...see you...in a-nother life..."

He closed his eyes as tears fell,"Please...just let me hold you one more time..." he sobbed.

I opened my arms, awaiting his embrace,"Ok.." I spoke.

Levi gently wrapped his arms around my back and neck, his hand cradling my head. I wrapped my arms around him, pain consuming me,"I p-promise I'll see you again...I want you to hold me once more.."

Levi cried loudly, his grip tightening,"I promise I'll see you too!!"

I moved my lips to his, kissing him with the last bit of strength I had, his breath mixing with my soft pants.

"I-I love you...L-L-levi.."

"(Y/n)...(Y/n)! (Y/n)! Please answer me!! Please!!"

Levi's pleas for an answer slowly disappeared as I left this world once more. My hand still holding his, making our hearts forever entwined together.

Levi's POV

"We gather here today to join these two in lawful matrimony." 

That sentence, I remember it clear as day. I remember seeing her, (Y/n), as she gracefully walked down to the alter. Her veil, partially hiding her features from my view. As she got closer, my hands reached up and lifted the thin cloth out of the way.

  "Do you, (Y/n), take Levi to be you lawfully wedded husband?"  

That question made my heart stop and go a million times a minute at the same time, awaiting her answer. I knew what her response was, but still, deep inside of me, it was still a surprise.

  "I do."  

  "You may now kiss the bride."  

I can remember placing my hand upon her cheek, her blush creating a soft heat that warmed my hand. I didn't want to take my hand off of her face. Leaning in, our lips connected, and everything became so clear. I wanted to spend the rest of my eternal life with this woman, not just the life I'm living now, but the life I will have after this one as well.

My hands traveled to her waist, pulling her closer to my body, her warmth consuming my senses and everything seemed to fade. It was only me and her. We were one in more than just being. Once we parted, the feeling didn't go away, it was ever lasting, to this day, I can still feel that eminence tingling in my chest.

"Hooray! Hooray for the newly weds!"

I lifted her hand and slide the ring onto her finger, a big smile on my face as I did so. I couldn't remember being so happy from just a simple action. Her arms wrapped around my neck and mine around her waist. I held her close and spun her around, her dress swaying with her.

  "I love you!"  

My most precious memory will forever stay with me...you will always stay with me (Y/n)...

     Hey guys, I'm sorry to say but that's the end of the book. Sorry it was so short, I just wanted it to end on a peaceful note. It's been a fun ride with you guys, and I can't tell you how much fun I love writing for you guys. 

      I've decided to do something special for you guys. I'm going to do a request series! You send me a request of a short you want, and I will do them. I will try to do them in a timely manner as so you can read the one's you wanted. I'm going to create a book called Request Series, if you want me to write a short of your choosing, drop a comment and I will create it for you. I will also tag you in the book and make sure to shout you out and tell them that this is the short idea you came up with. I'm all for it. I love you guys so much. 

Also, just something I haven't told you guys, I started doing fencing last year, and I might be signing up for the fencing team. I've won all my fencing bouts, 5-0! They didn't get a single touch on me! How awesome is that!? Idk, I just felt like sharing that with you guys, cause I'm really happy out it. I love fencing, its such an amazing sport.
