What Was Hidden

CHAPTER 7

LEVI'S POV

  I left a week ago to go outside the walls and fight. I came back alive but not well. I was worrying about [name]. Her [e/c] eyes and her [h/c] hair were clouding my brain. It was finally time for me to go back home.

 It took about 7 hourse to get back so it was around mid-night when I got home. When I arrived something was different, the lights werent on. Usually we have the living room and stairway light on so that [name] wont be scared at night.

  I jumped off of my horse and ran inside, the butler, Sebastian, we have bowed but I didnt have time for him,'' Where is [name]?" I asked. His face went sad and he was about to say something when I ran up the stairs. I ran and ran to her room and when I got there the door was locked. I cant belive it, why was her door locked.

I backed up and kicked the door open, when I turned the lights on, there was no one in the room. [name] wasnt in bed asleep, none of her dresses were hanging up and Lola and Lucy werent in her room watching her incase something went wrong.

  I went to Erwin's room and swung the door open. He sat up half asleep and asked," Levi is that you?''. I stormed over to his bed and picked him up by his shirt collar," Where is [name]?! Where is she? She isnt in her room, her stuff isnt anyway to be seen, Lola and Lucy and in there and Sebastian looked pretty upset when I asked where she was! Where is she and what happened when I was away?!'' I yelled pissed.

He pushed me off of him and got up. He towered over me and grabbed me by my collar and yelled back," Why would you care?!".

  I looked at him in disgust and said," I love her thats why now tell me where she is!". He held me up high and said," [name] left. Her brother, Max took her back with him. She found out about you and the survey corps and was really upset. Do you know how much she loves you and to find out that you could lose your life at any moment killed her. She wants to be with you Levi and you let that go, you need to quit, you need to find her again.".

  " Find her, what do you mean? You let him take her without even knowing where he lives!" I yelled. He dropped me to the floor and said," Her brother fought with you in the corps. His name is Max, so if you dont know then your on your own. I'm through trying to fix you, [name] really loved you and you threw that all away without a single thought.".

" Tch, she was on my mind the whole expidition. If I hadnt focused I would have died because she wouldnt leave my head." I said dusting off my uniform.

" And thats why you should quit. She's worried she's gunna lose you. So I told her brother to take her, I didnt want to see her face when she found out you had died or been killed. I didnt want to see her sadness if you had passed away." He said crossing his arms.

Now I was really pissed, he told her brother to take her. I looked at him and yelled," You told him to take her!". I ran up to him and punched him in the face. He fell the floor and wiped his nose," Yeah, yeah I did. You wouldnt like to see the same face you saw when she first came here would you! So thats why I did it!".

  I stormed out of his room and went to her room instead of mine. I walked in and sat on her bed. I laid down and smelt the same perfume [name] would always wear. I rolled over and kicked my shoes off and laid in her bed, taking in everything.

I felt something wet fall to my cheek and I quickly wiped it away. I was crying and I didnt want my tears to stain her pillows.

~ONE MONTH LATER~

I have continued to sleep in [name]'s room from that day. I rarely go out and I keep to myself. I decided to clean up her room since it was getting kind of dirty. I put a mask over my face and started dusting. I wiped her dresser down and her desk too. I was done sweeping and mopping and wipping the windows.

  I walked back over to her desk and opened one of the drawers. Inside I saw a letter with my name written on it. I waisted no time in opening it. I sat down on her bed and read it.

~Dear Levi,

     Its probably been a couple of weeks or a month now since I've last seen you. I hope your reading this and arent dead anywhere. And yes, I know about you being in the Survey Corps. I found out when I went into your room looking for you. I'm sorry I went in there, I thought you were acting weird a couple of days ago and now I know why.

I'm sorry I wont be able to play the piano for you anymore. I'm sorry you spent all that money for it. I'm sorry that I cant see you anymore. My brother came and got me, he got my letter and rushed over to see me. I thought he was only visiting but he came to take me.

  Levi please dont hate me becuase I found out. Please dont think I dont love you and please dont die. Max always told me about those titans and him seeing his own commrades get eaten alive. And I dont want that  to happen to you, I want to see you again. I want to be held by you again and I want to be with you. Forever and More.

Levi this is my last letter to you, I dont want you to worry about me and I dont want you to feel unloved. I would love to right letters to you but I dont want you to worry about me and die in battle. So, this will be my last letter to you. I want you to forget about me, I want you to live your life without worry.

  Just know this, the days I spent with you were the most fun I had ever had. I had never felt more love from somebody as I did with you. Levi, I love you and always will.

After I was done reading the letter had several tears on it," She wants me to forget about her. She wants me to know she loved me but forget her. How can I forget her, how can I forget the one I loved so much?" I asked.

   I took the letter and put it back in the envolope and put it on the desk. The letter was hidden in that desk for a whole month now waiting for me to read it. [name], I will never be able to forget you and I will always love you too. Forever and More.
