Hikari slowly opened her eyes.

I blinked, adjusting my vision to the bright sun. I was staring up at the sky, so blue and bright. The white fluffy clouds slowly floating by. It was mid afternoon, The warm sun hit my face. I squinted, I was lying on a wooden bench. Birds chirped and the slight breeze moved the trees, leaves cascading down. I sat up and looked around. I must have fallen asleep in a park. But I was strangely a little sore, I didn't know why. I took a deep breath of the fresh air and got up.

I walked along the fence on the path, Looking at the pretty flowers, they looked like a bunch of daffodils. I came to the parks entrance and left, then walked into the town. The buildings were mostly small but there were a few taller ones farther away. Everything was clean and perfect. All the little shops where you could go in and buy trinkets, goods and merchandise. It didn't look busy today. No one was walking around.

What is the name of the town? I can't remember. Everything feels so nice and happy in this town. Who would ever want to leave? I could stay here for awhile.

But something I haven't noticed earlier, were all the red banners everywhere with a symbol on it, but I couldn't tell what it was exactly. I came across a movie theater and saw a girl standing by it.

I recognize her, I don't know why, but she looks familiar.

Then the thought snapped into my head.

It looked like...

"Hoshi?" I asked.

She looked up at me. Like a spark lit in her eyes. But, she didn't answer. I stepped closer.

"It's me Hikari, don't you know me?" I asked.

I lifted my hand to touch her shoulder but she moved away and shook her head, her purple piggy tails swaying.

"No, I don't remember who you are." She answered.

I looked down, sorrow filled me. "Oh... I'm, sorry."

Then her face brightened. "Hey, but you can watch a movie with me!" She lifted her hands up together with excitement.

My eyes widened. "Uh, um..." I tried to answer.

Hoshi smiled and grabbed my hand and dragged me through the movie theater doors before I could deny her offer.

We walked to theater seven and went to one of the middle row seats and sat down. No one was there except us.

Strange, where is everyone?

The room went dark and the screen lit up from the projector.

I wonder who is running it, someone must be?

An image flashed on the screen, it looked all glitched for a moment but then it was gone and continued with the beginning of the movie. I nervously sat there through the whole movie as Hoshi would not stop smiling.

Why is she acting so strange and not like herself? She doesn't even remember me. How could she have forgotten? Maybe like, how I don't even know how I got here. What even happened before? I can't remember anything... I'll have to figure this out.

After what felt like ages, finally the movie was over. I sighed in relief. Then Hoshi turned and looked at me.

"That's one of my favorite movies." She said sounding excited.

I just nodded. "So, what should we do next?"

"Um, we could go-Oh I know! We can go walk around and see the shops!" She said with a big smile.
