The halls were empty and filled with silence, perfect for our escape. Hikari followed close behind Riku, the rest were behind me.
Disappearing into the black shadows down the halls. Naminé was visible, with her white dress, so we had to move quick before we were spotted. Or they would find our empty cell. We slowed down at the corner, Riku peered around the wall. He partially lifted one side of his blindfold up to see. We waited patiently to see which way he would go. We looked at him with anticipation. But he sat there, without giving us the next direction.
"Well, we're waiting. We don't have all night to get caught." Axel mentioned.
Without Naminé and Riku's help, we would have never gotten the chance to run. The four of us would still be in that cell. Until they would have come for us...
"Riku, do you know where you're going?" Roxas asked.
He sighed and slumped back against the wall, covering his eye back up. "No, I can't seem to remember." Riku answered.
"The only thing I remember are vague dreams of Sora's memories, nothing else." Xion spoke.
I turned my head. "Naminé, do you know which way it is?" I asked.
"Yes I do. But this place is large and elaborate. It's very easy for someone to become lost and disorientated here. If you don't remember the right paths." Naminé stated.
"So, you've explored this place before?" Axel wondered.
"Yes I have." She answered.
"What else is even in here?" Roxas asked.
"Yeah, I always wanted to know." Xion said.
Naminé stared off, thinking. "I can't say..."
"So like, dark things we don't want to imagine?" I said tilting my head.
I shivered, then Naminé nodded.
"We need to hurry." Riku spoke up.
Naminé moved to the front. "Right, follow me."
She said as she stepped around the corner. We all turned left down the hall. We all followed behind her as silent as the night. We went on and on. Slinking down the path through the illuminated halls from moonlight, streaming through the high bared windows. only relying on Naminé's memories of this place. We stayed quiet the entire time. Somewhat afraid of what we might come face to face with at the next turn.
To get thrown back in, or our lives expended. It was strange, the halls being this empty. To think at least one person should be guarding at night.
We turned corner after corner. It was unbelievable how massive this place was, and vacant.
What could lie behind each door. The thoughts of what it could possibly hold are endless.
The Organization, and the Superior, all the secrets hiding with them. All the different turns we took I had already forgotten the path back to Naminé's room.
This place is impossible not to lose where you're at. It felt like it's been hours since we first left. And night can't last forever, it must be nearly sunrise.
I was beginning to become sore from all of the crouching we were doing. I'm sure everyone else felt the same.
Naminé finally stopped and turned around. "We're close. Sora is in one of these doors."
Axel looked at her questionably. "How do you know? You've been leading us this whole time, it's basically impossible in this place."
"Everything looks so similar. How do you know where to go?" I added.
