"Hikari, everything is just an illusion, that's why you can't break out. You're trapped inside of Kingdom Hearts, still only just a spirit. The darkness has a hold of your heart, that's why you can't remember, some of the most important things in your life. They have our hearts, locked in this realm... We can find a way out of this place, to finally get away from them, this evil. But, we can't be free, not yet..." A mysterious voice says.
Pyua is far from everything, everyone, within darkness. My mind wanders further away into nothing.
I can't think of anything, I can't even see. Empty, silence, just me. Nothing but the pitch black.
But then there was a spark, my mind started to race. Thoughts filled my mind.
Where am I, what happened? Yet, my memories aren't the same anymore. Something's wrong. Something's not right... What, am I anymore?
I saw a flash of light, a whisper filled my ears. I was confused.
What was it asking me?
I slowly opened my eyes, following to where it wanted to lead me. Then I saw light breaking through the darkness, a pure white light.
I woke up, lying on a cold hard surface. I slowly opened my eyes, my vision was blurry. It was taking a while for my eyes to clear up, to notice were I was now. I was confused and scared. I raised my head and slowly sat up. I blinked a couple times. Things were more clear now. I could see many different colors, and shapes. I got into a sitting position. I looked around and found myself in some type of library. And no one was around.
But why would I be here? Why am I here now? I don't know this place. Where is everyone?
I held my hand up to my face, rubbing my head. I noticed that the bookshelves were made out of dark oak wood. There were thousands of books on the shelves, with dark green carpet lining the floors. I also noticed that there were no walls, no ceiling, no windows, and no lights. It was dark and the bookshelves were endless, it was like a maze.
I got up to my feet and walked over to one of the bookshelves. Even though the shelves weren't very tall I still couldn't look over them. I reached out and grabbed one of the books, the cover was blue. I flipped open a couple of pages, there were just lists of names. Names of people, but I didn't recognize any of them. I frowned and closed the book then put it back in its place. I continued walking until I came to the end of that row, I turned the corner to find more bookshelves. They weren't just straight, some of them curved, went to a dead end, or even went in circles.
My feet stomped down on the carpet as I walked around, it was the only sound being made in this entire place. I don't even know why I was here. I rounded another corner to find a wooden table with chairs. I walked up and pulled out one of the seats and sat down.
I needed time to think things through. To try to remember things...
What was I last doing, what was I doing before all this? This place, there's always a before right, a past of some sort?
I lifted my head up to see that further down the table there was another book, this time the cover was white.
I wonder why this one was sitting out, did someone leave it here?
I reached down and grabbed it and slid back to my spot. This time I flipped the pages from the back, but they were blank white pages.
That's strange...
I turned a couple more pages until I saw more names written down. My eyes lit up in shock from what I saw.
Pyua, Hoshi, Hato, and Hikari. That's my name, and my friends. But, is this a book for the deceased?
