Aqua walked through the portal that I created for us to get to our destination. After we stepped out, the portal vanished. Sora and Hikari followed into the unknown. I led the way. I was the only person who knew where Ven was and had the ability to open the way to him.
This is what we agreed to do, that we needed to get our lost friends back.
On the other side of the portal, it took me a moment for my eyes to adjust to the darkness around us. I looked around at the environment, everything was dark, and deserted, soundless. There were no stars, only a pale blue light lit the space around us. The only thing on the path in front of us, was an old looking castle.
I turned to look at them. "This used to be my home, but now it's called Castle Oblivion... I hope this was the right way to seal Ven away, and that no one has gotten to him first." I said sounding sad.
Hikari placed her hand on my shoulder. "I'm sure he's safe. We'll get to him first and get him out of this place."
Sora gave us a smile. "Well, we can't keep him waiting now, he's been asleep long enough."
I nodded then started walking down the path to the castle. It was a slight tan color with a blue roof. The rooms were going out in all random directions. We shortly made it to the entrance, the whole fortress was looming over us. Everything was so dark and eerie, but, lights were on inside. I walked up to the door and opened it. The door was unlocked.
"Everything's different inside now... He should be in the only locked room, I just don't know where exactly." I said holding the door open.
Sora looked confused. "I've been in here before, but I don't really have any memory of it..."
Hikari walked through the door. "We're going to have to search for the right door then."
They both followed me in. Everything was white and vacant inside, the only color in there were the doors.
At least it was bright inside.
But I had a feeling that we were not alone in here.
I started walking away. "We should hurry up, you never know if someone could be following us."
Hikari nodded then started to follow me, Sora ran alongside her. We ran ahead and went up the stairs and opened the door to see another room. It looked exactly the same as the one we were just in.
"Um, Deja-Vu anyone?" Sora said laughing a little bit.
Hikari walked into the room and looked around. "There aren't any other doors so far, I guess we just keep going up."
We went across the room yet again and up a small flight of stairs and opened the door to see another room that was an exact copy. We did this for awhile, it seemed like we went up thirteen flights of stairs. Everyone was getting tired and slightly annoyed.
I sighed. "Maybe we're missing something here, I don't even know if we are getting anywhere."
"We will find it. We just have to keep going. We can't give up." Sora said giving us a big smile.
Hikari looked around the room again. "There has to be an end somewhere."
I opened the door. We walked in. It felt different than the ones before. We looked inside and there were stairs, but the door at the top was different. We climbed the steps to the top and looked at the door. It was huge and ominous with intercit flower patterns all over it.
"Is this, Ven's room?" Sora asked.
I walked up to the double doors and reached the handles and pulled on them, they opened.
