"Hikari, you've got to see, quick! You have to come see this!" She rambled on.

"Whoa, Hato calm down... Okay, now slowly explain." I told her.

"I found something, in the dungeon, follow me." Hato said.

What was she doing down there, so quickly after the dinner? Unless she had the same idea as me, looking for a way out. The others have been here longer than me. They might have had a clue to what's been going on in the shadows.

"Alright." I nodded.

The two of us went down the hall. The hooded figure and the masked boy were nowhere to be seen.

Good.

We made our way to a door that went down dark stone stairs into a vacant old hallway. We walked down the long hall to see that a door near the end was ajar. There were other doors, but they were all closed and most likely locked. We reached the end and I peeked through the big door. It was empty but then I saw a mirror. All my memories came rushing back to me, about my home that was destroyed, losing my friends, and the town that I was trapped in, what I was trying to do, what I was searching for, everything.

"We need to get out of here before we are trapped for eternity." I warned.

She nodded. Her face was filled with fear. She must have gotten her memories back as well.

"What happened to you after we got separated from school?" Hato asked concerned.

"I, remember waking up in a town. I found Hoshi, then I met others like us. Trapped with no memories. Then the masked boy from before came for me. After that I appeared here... Hato, what happened to you?" I spoke.

"I was at the town as well, but I followed this girl to a dark portal. I thought it might lead me to you possibly, but instead I went to a dark place that looked like our school. It was completely destroyed, and everything there wasn't right. There were monsters too, and when we made it to the end, we made it to Star Pool Beach. And this man came, But he attacked us, and I fell into the darkness. Then I woke up here, with my memories gone again, until now." Hato answered.

"I don't understand what's been going on. These bad people, they don't want us to remember our past. I'm afraid of what would happen if it ever gets to that... But, why is it this way?" I thought.

"I don't like the image of them pulling apart our memories. But, what would happen if we lost everything? Would we just be empty shells? Then what would they do to us?" Hato replied.

I looked into her eyes with sternness.

"Go." I spoke.

"Wait. Before we leave, I need to get the rest. We can't go without them." Hato said.

"Yes, I'll come with you." I told her.

We ran back down the hallway and rushed up the stairs. We made it back to the rooms and started banging on Sora's door with our fists.

"Sora, open up the door!" Hato and I demanded.

The door creaked open and Sora stood there, it looked like he didn't even get ready for bed yet.

"Hikari... What do you want?" He asked.

He didn't seem too happy anymore.

"I can't explain yet. But we need to get out of here, now." I told him.

"What, why?" He questioned.

"Just, listen to me. We need to go Sora." I said.

He stood there for a moment, then something seemed to click inside. He nodded.
