They didn't even slow down for Hikari.
Did they hear me? They didn't answer for a while, maybe startled that I'm asking questions.
I looked at the giant sword they were carrying, I began to get nervous. Then they finally answered.
"I am the seventh Organization member." The man answered.
His voice was deeper than Axel's.
"Then, you are a part of the Organization that runs this place." I stated.
"Yes." He answered.
"Like Axel, Roxas, and Xion?" I asked.
"They were." He said.
"Then why are they locked up, when you're out here?" I questioned.
He stopped walking.
"Because, they started to defy the Superior and go off and question what's right or wrong." He replied.
"Was the Superior right about everything that they did?" I asked him.
"I will not question the Superior's ways." He blankly said.
"Have you ever doubted them?" I asked tilting my head to the side.
"No..." He paused then turned around.
"Who are you to question me and the Organization? You have only been here for a few days... If you can't even recall anything, then how would you even know the truth?" He said getting angry. Then he leaned down to my eye level and gripped his blade. I saw his eyes start to glow yellow from within his hood. I took a step back but didn't look away.
I regained my strength. "I know you're not really bad."
He stood back up, taken back by my statement. His eyes stopped glowing and he loosened his grip on the sword. He stood back up normally.
"Do you remember anything, from before you were a Nobody?" I questioned.
"Yes." He turned his head.
"I used to be close with Axel, but not anymore. It was, a long time ago..." He said.
"What happened?" I asked him.
"We, grew apart..." He said growing quiet.
"I'm sorry." I told him.
"I shouldn't have said anything..." He said putting his hand to his forehead.
"Would you actually hurt me with that?" I questioned him pointing at the massive blade.
"Stop distracting me." He said coldly.
He turned around and continued walking down the hall.
"But-" I spoke.
"Be quite." He snapped.
I quickly went back to follow him. He looked back, the light partially revealing a scar that was over his nose.
"You seem to know quite a lot for just arriving here. And if you don't stop digging into other people's business you're going to get taken out, and I will be happy to be the one to deal the first blow..." He said and frowned.
He turned and continued walking. I was shocked by what he said. But I kept following him the rest of the way in silence. We made it to the end of the hall, a white door was closed before us. He stopped in front, but hesitated to open the door. I stood behind him. The nerves crept back up on me that I pushed down earlier.
"We part here." He spoke.
I stood in silence, I moved my head down in dread.
What is this rehabilitation? Could it be worse than I think, or am I overreacting? I know so little about the secrets behind this place. I know these people here will not hold back on taking me down if I step up. What could be beyond this door?
