A few days passed for Hikari.
They went by quickly, classes were normal. The routine was the same, training, hanging out after school. My friends and I still had lots of fun. But one thing that changed was Chirithy. They had started to grow.
One afternoon we were spending time on top of our roof. We had added things overtime, there was a box that served as a table, and we had four pillows around it. Glasses were on the table filled with tea. Chirithy jumped up to join but then one of the glasses were bumped and fell over, spilling the tea.
"Oh Chirithy, not on the table." I scolded them lightly as I picked them up and set them on my pillow.
I got up to clean the spill. But then another Keyblade wielder made their way up to our roof. Hr stepped in the doorway of the stairs. I looked at him.
"Master Ava wants to speak to Hikari, in the clock tower." He spoke.
I stared at him, a hint of dread crept up.
What could this be about?
...
So I found my way walking up into the clock tower, once again. But this time I was invited, by one of the Foretellers. I decided to bring Chirithy along with me, I found no harm in doing so. At least Chirithy could bring me some comfort, and keep my nerves down.
Instead of reaching the top of the tower, I found master Ava standing near a large window. A small makeshift pond was in the floor. Flowers and plants were scattered around and grew up the walls of the tower.
I stood there for a moment, before she brought her gaze away from the window.
"Hikari, I didn't see you there." She spoke gently.
She had a sweet tone, but it sounded more serious than the times before. Master Ava was the youngest of the foretellers. I worked with some of them, but her the most. She was the only one that taught us to use magic, and how to defend ourselves. She had on a bright pink cloak with white and she wore a grey fox mask.
Then she looked surprised.
"I see you have a Chirthy now. But how did you get one?" Ava wondered.
I scratched Chirithy that was propped up comfortably on my shoulder.
"Well, I didn't choose Chirithy, they found me, and picked me to be its new owner." I replied.
"That's interesting, I never heard of that happening... But, I brought you here to talk about something else." Master Ava spoke.
"What is it?" I asked.
She lowered her gaze. "Master Gula told me about, the incident with the book of prophecies." Ava had a serious tone.
I looked down. "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have gone looking around for things that I shouldn't get involved in... I just, wanted to find out, what is really going on here." I answered.
But then she gave an unexpected smile. "Master Gula spread the rumor on purpose, to see who would be the one who's brave enough to climb this tower... I'm surprised that it was you, who came looking for secrets." She answered.
I was shocked. "I shouldn't have done that in the first place, I should have been punished." I responded.
"No, it was a test. You were the only one who took a chance. You impressed me... But, there are consequences from looking in the book of prophecies. You know more than the others, from what you saw. I believe you can use that knowledge, and carry it on with you, as a wielder.... Before it begins." Ava turned her head to the window.
