No Longer Hidden- Chapter Six

Chapter Six

A smiled slipped over my lips as an Alpha I knew to like me came into the ring. Jeremy Ruste. Another Derek wasn't too frightened to take me to his territory. Alpha Ruste was like a big teddy bear the whole time.

And so curious about the woman to tame Daemon Mooney. That was when I heard some of the rumors going around all the Alphas about me. Some were that I chained Daemon up and made him my personal slave till I was confident he'd stay that way when I released him. Another was that I beat every female that looked at Daemon till I was his only option. And the rumors went on and on.

By the end of our time at his home, Ruste had become like a big brother in a way to me. In the small amount of time we had spent around each other mind you. He told some amazing and fun jokes throughout every meal. I kept thinking of him as a buff ball of light with his golden hair and eyes.

You know, the one thing I really liked about Alpha Ruste besides his jokes, he always had that glint in his eye that said he was about to enjoy something. And right now it was glittering mischievously right at me as he had the biggest smile on his face. He even had a spring in his step as he 'skipped' into the ring.

"Hey little sister! Ready for a spanking?"

I laughed. "You think you can big brother?"

He laughed as he shrugged off his tailored vest and tossed it to the ground outside of the ring leaving him in just his low rise tailored slacks. He had already taken off his shoes and socks so he was walking into the ring barefoot.

"Oh I can little sister." Then he gave me an dark amused look. "I'm not like the others just so you're aware."

My eyebrow rose. "Give me what you've got."

He sighed with a smile. "Just remember you asked for it."

When his eyes came to me, there was a glint before his leg round house kick right to my side. I had only a moment to put up my guard to block the hit. He was fast and I had to be faster as he started to bombard me we combos of martial arts. Mainly Tae Kwan Do. I had to switch to my martial arts training in order to just defend myself.

The second there was an opening, I took it. He was going to do a spinning back kick. I crouched down and slid my foot out. Thrusting toward, I connected with his ankle. His supporting leg falling out from under him and he went down on his side.

I hopped up just as he flipped so he was standing too. We started a slow circle. His eyes glowing slightly with his wolf. "You're very good. They taught you very well."

The corner of my lip quirked up. "We've had a few years so I could train for this moment."

He chuckled. "And my family have spend a few generations looking for you. The five of our families banning together in the search because we all had hope."

My eyes widened for a second before my face lit in a smile as I concentrate on not being distracted. "So you're with Alpha Wilde?"

"He's the one that told us about you." Ruste stepped my way and I took a measured step back making sure I knew where the edge of the ring was.

"So when we came to your region..."

He nodded. "I knew what I was looking for to confirm for myself that you were the one we've been looking for." Throwing a jab at me, I blocked easily. "A strong leader to help so many as your father-in-law and those like us have been trying to do since the fall of the royal family." Moving forward swiftly, he tried to catch me off guard. But he didn't.
