I tap a finger to my lip, looking around to make sure everything's ready.
Healthy food for North - check
Junk food for the rest of us - check
A scary movie - check
A hat with all their names in it - check
I bite back the smile that wants to appear, thinking of what their reactions will be to my game for tonight.
We're having a sleepover, with all of us at Nathan's. I'm giddy and nervous just thinking of it and glance at the clock. They should be here any minute. They've all been on Academy assignments today. Knowing I'd be bored, they gave me an assignment of my own—plan a sleepover with fun stuff to do. When I asked what kind of fun stuff, they said to surprise them.
The pressure.
I've never planned... well, anything like that before. It's not rocket science, sure, but when you have nine guys you desperately want to please, (particularly these nine, gorgeous, wonderful, amazing guys) it becomes a heavy load to bear.
My phone lights up with a text.
Luke: Honey, we're home!
I giggle and run to the door, unlocking and opening it.
Four familiar vehicles pull into the driveway, and my heart automatically soars with the sight.
I hope they're in a gaming mood!
