Ending Before It Begins

I woke up Wednesday morning to the sound of my alarm clock ringing .I shifted over so I could shut it off when my back hit something hard .I turned around to see Ethan sleeping next to me .I shut the alarm clock off and moved so I was facing him .I layed there staring at him when I heard him speak "you like what you see " Ethan says smirking at me .

"Apparently because I let it sleep in my bed "I said getting up .I got up from the bed and saw a picture of me and Kylie I picked up the frame and threw it in the trash ."you guys are best friends you won't stay mad at each other forever "Ethan says getting up ."what do you mean at each other the only one who has the right to be mad is me " I said

"Its a new day I dont wanna talk about yesterday's drama , I'm going to go take a shower " I said "ok I'm gonna run home and get ready for school " Ethan say putting on his shoes ." ok " I said gong into the bathroom and locking the door .

I got in the shower and washed my body and got out .I looked at myself in the foggy mirror .

how can I lose the best friend I've ever had .she was suppose to keep my secrets not tell them to people .

I pushed the thought of Kylie out of my head and started to take out the messy bun I put in last night before going to sleep so my hair would me curly .I plugged in the curling iron to touch up some of the curls. I then moved to my closet and pulled out a white peplum top and some white and pink floral jeans.I then moved to my shoe rack and pulled out a pair of white booties with pink studs along the sides.

I got dressed and walked back to the bathroom to look in the mirror .I picked up a comb and used the end to give myself a middle part .I was walking out the bathroom when I heard the doorbell ring. A few seconds later I heard maria and Ethan's voice down stairs .

maria is the housekeeper and also the lady who makes my meals .she's kinda like a second mom to me .

I went to my closet and picked out

a white envelop purse and got my backpack off the hook and began to walk out of my room . I walked down stairs and went into the kitchen to see Ms.Maria cleaning ."Hi Ms.Maria what are you doing here" I asked a little confused ."Your mom asked me to work this week " Maria said .

"What about Carmen this is her first year of high school too and your going to miss it because you have to watch over me " I said getting angry that my mom would make her work this week . "Kayla its ok Carmen understands what I have to do  your mom just told to do whatever you asked " Maria said

"Well I'm telling you to go home and watch Carmen get ready for school and for you to see her leave everyday this week " I said smiling . "I cant just leave you here by yourself " Maria said looking sad . "Its ok Ms.Maria I'm used to it" I said faking a smile

"Ok but ill be checking up on you and I left muffins on the counter " ."Thank you" I said walking her to the door . "Keep him around I can see from the ten minutes I've talked to him that he really loves you and now and days thats hard to come by "  Maria said walking away "wait what's hard to come by " I said confused " love" she said smiling .

I walked back into the kitchen and saw Ethan sitting on at stool at the counter . "Hey" I said faking a smile . "I know that you can lie to everyone else in your life about how your feeling but not me Kayla, why would you let her leave now everyday this week your going to be alone "Ethan said looking a little angry .

"I let her leave because I know how it feels to be put second in your mothers life and I dont want Carmen to feel that way , not if there's something that I can do to help it " I said grabbing a muffin and my backpack . "Why do you even care were not together" I said walking towards the door. Who's fault is that I told you how I felt and I'm still waiting for your answer "Ethan said walking behind me

"Well excuse me for not wanting to go out with the caption of the football team " I said rurning around so I was facing him. "What does me being the caption of the football team have to do with anything " Ethan says. "Oh please we all know how this works the caption goes out with the freshmen to prove to the rest of the team that he can get any and everybody" I said rolling my eyes .

"Well if it was a bet I guess it worked because we slept In the same bed last night "Ethan says looking angry until realising what he just said ."Wait I didn-" . "get out" I said holding back tears.  "I didn't mean it I'm sorry " Ethan said" I said get out now "I yelled opening the door and pushing him out .

I locked the door and waited awhile for him to leave .I looked out the window thirty minutes later and he was still there . i pulled out my phone and called Nathan "Can you come around back " I said sitting in the couch "ok I'm out back "

I walked out the back door and got into the car and passed Ethan's car as he watched me drive away .
