"Kayla dammit what did I do" Ethan said. "I thought you loved me" Ethan said walking back to his car and standing by the drivers side with his head on the window. I walked over to Ethan and wrapped my arms around his waist and layed my head on his back "Im sorry" I said. Ethan turned around and hugged me "Kayla why are you mad at me" Ethan said.

"Its just as soon as you saw me and Kylie arguing you jumped on her side and it hurt my feelings then she pushed me and you just got in my way" I said. "babe if you would have seen the way you looked after she pushed you , you would have stopped yourself" Ethan said laughing " But I wasn't picking sides Kayla you might not want to admit it but you miss Kylie and you guys were really close that's why it hurts so much" Ethan said.

He was right I did miss Kylie and it did hurt that she broke my trust but I can't trust someone who tells my business I don't want to always look over my shoulder.

I pulled away from Ethan and went through my purse and got my phone and dialed.

Hey Kylie can we meet somewhere to talk I said. "Are you gonna beat me up" Kylie says. "Tempting but no I really just want to talk" I said. "ok we can meet at Starbucks next to the school" Kylie says.

"ok see you in ten" I said getting into the car. "Hey Ethan can we go to the Starbucks next to the school" I said. "ok" Ethan said starting the car and beginning to drive. "Do you wanna go to Jacobs beach house tomorrow" Ethan said.

"Yea it sounds like it'll be fun" I said." "Kayla can I ask you a question" Ethan said. "Yea whats up" i said turning towards him. "Whos house are you living in" Ethan asked. "Mine I told you that already"

"I know that its yours but how did you get it" Ethan said. "When my dad left it was the only thing he left us, he left it in my grandmothers name and she signed it over to me." "So your grandmother knows who your father is"

"yes" I said looking out the window. "Then why haven't you asked her who he is" Ethan asked. "I dont want to know who he is, if he didnt care enough to be in my life why should I waste my time looking for someone who dosnt want to be found" I said.

I saw Ethans hands tighten around the steering wheel."What about you , where's your dad" I said. "Kayla dont" Ethan said. "Dont what Ethan, its ok for you to push me to talk about my dad but it's not ok for me to push you to talk about yours" I said

"You don't understand"Ethan said clenching his fist to the point that his knuckles where turning white." Then explain it to me because all im gathering is that he hurt you and im trying to help you get over it" I said

"You think you can help me get over it Kayla you haven't even gotten over it so how can you help me" Ethan said.

Nothing anyone has ever said has ever hurt me so much I felt like he just punched me. I have gotten over. I've pushed it to the back of my mind only thinking about it occasionally.

We got to a red light and I unbundled my seatbelt and unlocked the door and got out slamming the door. "So your walking away" Ethan said walking behind me. "I didnt walk away you pushed me away" I said. I began to walk faster but no matter how fast I walked he kept following me.

I walked up to the Starbucks and walked in to see Kylie and Jake." im sorry that Jake's here I just wanted to make sure you wouldn't beat me up" Kylie said. "Yea I dont know a Jake sorry" I said sitting down. "Im sorry that I pushed you im sorry that I told Ethan and I

sorry about me and Jake" Kylie said. "I accept your apology and if you wanna date this Jake guy you can , who am I to stop you".I said

I pulled out my phone and called Nathan "hey can you come pick me up im at the starbucks next to my school" I said . "Ok im on my way" Nathan said. I turn around to sit down when I see Ethan walk In and sit next to Jake.

I sat down next to Kylie and put my head In my hands." Kayla are you ok your shaking" Kylie said. " Yea I just need some air". I got up and went out side and sat down on a bench. I turned to see Ethan, Jake, and Kylie coming towards me. "Are you ok Kayla why are you shaking" Jake said.

I continued to look ahead of me when I heard Ethan" Kayla are you ok" Ethan said. I flenched at the sound of his voice it physically hurt me to hear him. "Kayla are you ok whatever's going on you can talk to me and Jake and Ethan about it" Kylie said. "i dont know a Jake or Ethan" I said continuing look ahead.

How can people you love hurt you Ethan had hurt me because of what he had said about my dad. Jake had hurt me by betraying me and so had Kylie. Maybe love is the problem. If you dont love you dont hurt.

" Kylie I forgave you but I don't want to be friends anymore" I said getting up." "Kayla what do I have to do" Kylie says. "There's nothing that you can do" I said wiping away my tears. I walked away and got in the car and we began to drive home.

I was crying not because my friends and my boyfriend had hurt me but because I had made the desicion to give them up . I had made the desicion to push them away so that I wouldn't hurt anymore.
