We had ended our fight but I knew it wouldnt be the last one we would have because with two broken people came a broken relationship.

We were all walking from the beach and into the house as soon as we got in we all headed to our separate rooms. "Do you want to take a shower first"Ethan asked. "No you should go first. I'm going to be awhile" I said. "Ok I wont take long" Ethan said then kissed my forehead.

"Kayla can you come outside, I need to talk to you"Claire said. "Yea sure" I said. I went outside to see Claire sitting on the sand and went over to sit next to her. "Claire whats up"I said. "I think I love Jacob" Claire said. "I didnt even know you two were together until this morning" I said. " You heard us" Claire said. " Yea  and it seems like Jacob really likes you" I said. "I know he likes me but I dont trust him" Claire said.

"Why dont you trust him" I said. "Because he cheated on me during the summer with a friend of mine" Claire said. "Oh my god im so sorry I dont know what I would do if Ethan did that to me" I said hugging Claire. "Oh please Ethan would never do that to you he loves you" Claire said. "I know but were talking about you. So do you love jacob enough to give him a second chance" I said. "I do but I want to make sure he has changed , I wanna make sure what happened last time won't happen again because if it does im done for good" Claire said. "I agree I think you should talk to him and see where his head is at then make your decision" I said.

"Thank you so much Kayla I really needed that" Claire said. "No problem" I said. "We should probably go get ready now" Claire said getting up. "Yea so I'll see you later" I said walking back into the house. I walked into the bedroom and saw Ethan walking around in kaki shorts and a pink hollister shirt. "Hey were have you been" Ethan said. "With Claire we were talking" I said. "But im going to go get in the shower" I said picking up my bag and taking it into the bathroom.

I got in the shower and washed my hair with shampoo twice to make sure I got everything out and put conditioner in and let it sit while I washed my body. I washed the conditioner out and got out the shower. I dried my body and put on my undergardments and looked through my bag for something to wear. I decided on a pair of dark acid wash high waisted shorts that stopped at my belly button and a black spaghetti strap flowy high low crop top that stopped two inches above my belly button and my bred 11's. I put my outfit on and did my hair in spiral curls with a side part. I got out the bathroom and as soon as I walked out I heard chaos. I walked over to Austin's room to see everyone standing around. I walked over to Ethan and asked "What's going on" I asked. "Brittney's having a breakdown about her hair" Ethan said laughing. I nudged his shoulder "Thats not funny" I said. "Your right im sorry. You look beautiful by the way" Ethan said kissing my forehead. "Thank you now I'm going to to go see how I can help" I said.

"Brittney whats wrong with your hair" I asked. She got up and walked over to the bed.There's something I haven't told you guys" Brittney said. "I have a disease called Alopecia Areata" Brittney said. "What are the affects of the disease" I said sitting on the bed next to her. "It causes round patches of hair loss and I could possibly loose all my hair" Brittney said. I looked up at Ethan and mouthed "can you get my bag please". He left the room and came back with my bag and handed it to me and took his position back next to Jacob. "Brittney I'd like to help you if you would let me" I said getting up and extending my hand. Brittney took it and I took her into the bathroom and closed the door. I sat her down on the toliet seat and plugged my curling wand up and waited for it to get hot. "im sorry this happened to you" I said. "Its ok there's nothing i can do but prepare myself for when it gets worse" Brittney said 

it killed me that she was ready for whatever was coming. That she was going to let this disease take over her. As soon as i heard her say that she was going to prepare herself was the moment that I decided I was going to do everything in my power to help her.
