Nadia's POV

I got up early this morning. I was gonna tell Derrick's coach to check his varsity team for bullying Derrick. That's one thing I don't like. I don't like when people make fun of people and in this case it's my best friend and he's mentally challenged so he doesn't know any better.

That's where you got me bent.

I got in the shower and did the rest of my hygiene things before putting on some black sweat, white slides and a white shirt. I got my keys and my backpack and went straight to my car cause I know Derrick likes to practice before school.
Coaches office...

"Hey Nadia, what's up?" Coach Franklin said.

"Hey... is it okay if I close the door?" I asked.

"Yeah go ahead."

I closed the door and sat in the chair.

"I heard from one of your players on Varsity, that they are being bullied by the captain of the varsity team."

"Really? Oh okay. Well thank you for the information Ms. Washington." He said.

"Your welcome." I said. I got up and left just as Derrick was coming out of the gym.
Derrick's POV
Basketball practice...

"Everyone go to the gym and wait for me when you get there." Coach said.

I got up and started to get my stuff  so I bent over and before I could react I felt a hand push me and I fell into the wall head first.

"Ow" I said silently.

I continued to get my things and ignored the pain. I walked into the gym and waited for coach to get in there, when he did he looked angry.

"Now, Jared step up." He said pointing at him.

The captain stepped up.

"Why is it that I hear you are bullying someone else on this team? Huh? Do you think because you are the captain you can put people down?" He said.

"Coach what are you talking about?" Jared said.

"A little birdie told me that you are bullying someone on this team"

"That's some bullshit" Jared snapped.

"Oh since you think that is... your suspended for the first five games of the season" Coach said walking away. "Matter of fact, on top of that get on the base line. You have 100 lines, sprinting in five minutes. Go. Everyone else has a free day. Do what you want."

I decided I would go the the locker room and chill out there.
Locker Room...

After a while of being alone in there, five of my team mates came and surrounded me. Then the captain of the team came in.

"You rat me out?" He said angrily.

"No I swear I didn't" I said.

He punched me in the face.

"Yes you did!" He said.

"I swear I didn't!"

He punched me in the face two more times and then I fell on the floor.

"Next time it will be worse... so watch your back cause it's gonna fucking happen" he said.

Great, now Nadia and my team is mad at me.
