Nadia's POV
School...

I heard today was Jared's last day at this school and all I have to say for that is thank god.

I'm tired of having to watch Derrick get bullied by him.

Most of the time I'm not just standing there letting it happen. Sometimes I would step in, but I'm tired of dodging fists.

Derrick walked up to me at lunch after he heard the news too.

"He's leaving" he said smiling.

"Jared?" I said.

"Yeah" he said hugging me.

"Derrick" I said laughing.

Then, he randomly kissed me and all of my friends started saying aww.

He decided to sit next to me for the rest of lunch.

We walked to our 3rd period together then were stopped in the hall by Jared and his group of friends.

"Sup dumbfuck" Jared said.

"I'm not dumb" Derrick said.

"Yes you are, if I say you are, you are" he said.

"Jared stop" I said.

"Or what" he said getting in my face.

"Move" Derrick said pulling me back.

"No" Jared said. "I'm not gonna listen to someone that is a nobody and has nobody"

"Derrick come on" I pleaded trying to pull him away.

"Do something" Jared said pushing Derrick.

I got in the middle of them both and tried to push Derrick back, but he's too fucking strong.

"Come on, stupid. Do something." Jared said pushing him again.

Don't you dare do anything Derrick. I thought.

"Don't touch me" Derrick said.

"Or what?" Jared said.

I turned around and instantly caught a blow from Jared. I fell to the floor holding my head.

I got back up to see Derrick beating the fuck out of Jared.

I couldn't really walk cause I was too weak but I still managed to find my way to Derrick.

None of the teachers could pull him off of Jared. Not even the strongest coaches.

I tried to pull Derrick off but it didn't work but somehow he heard me call his name and he instantly stopped fighting and came over to me.

I didn't notice that I was bleeding pretty bad.

"Are you okay?" He asked me.

"... Not really" I replied.

"I'm sorry" He said.

"Don't be, stand up to your bully no matter what happens to me in the process of trying to keep you from fighting" I said.

He helped me up and when he noticed I couldn't really walk straight he picked me up and took me to the nurse...
