"Just want to feel this way forever."

~*~
Kian Lawley

I couldn't help but grin like an idiot for the rest of the week. Andrea had kissed me back, and I knew that slowly she was coming back. After being in a coma for what feels like forever, she's coming back.

"Kian," Meredith spoke, poking my side as she paused the movie we were watching.

I looked at her and frowned.

"Are you okay? You've been smiling like a dumbass all day!" She laughed and kissed my cheek, "come on baby, let's watch this movie together."

I hadn't told her about Andrea. I didn't know how. I've avoided discussing it with her, and so far it's worked. Meredith hasn't suspected a thing.

She pressed play and the movie continued.

I received a call from Anna.

I looked at Meredith, "I've got to take this."

She looked at my phone and frowned, "is everything okay Kian, what aren't you telling me?"

"Please just let me take this call, alright?"

Meredith glared at me, "I didn't say you couldn't answer the phone."

I sighed and got off the bed, and answered the phone, "hello?"

"It's nothing bad, but Andrea is fully awake!" Anna sounded breathless.

I smiled, "coming!" I hung up and rushed around my room, gathering things, receiving glares from Meredith, who was now crossing her arms and getting out of the bed.

"What are you doing?"

"Andrea," I told her, not bothering to explain. I tossed Meredith a spare key, "lock up when you leave, alright?" And like that, I left my apartment and sped to Andrea's apartment. I took the large bear that I once gave her, Smalls, and put him in my car. I drove to the hospital, and brought the big bear in with me.

I quickly rushed to Andrea's room and smiled as I saw her.

"Andrea," I spoke, breathlessly, grinning like an idiot.

She looked at me and then at her parents who were on both sides of her, Anna was sitting in the chair. Her parents nodded at me and they both left. Anna got up from the chair and walked up to me, "tell her about Meredith."

I nodded and they left me and her alone.

"Hey," I sat Smalls on the floor, and sat on the bed beside her, like I've done numerous times.

She looked at Smalls, then at me, "hey."

"How are you?" I asked, reaching for her hand and holding it lightly.

"Tired," she muttered, "ironically."

I chuckled, "I missed you too."

She gave my hand a light squeeze, "and I missed you too."

I kissed her forehead, "how long have you been awake?"

"Three days," Andrea responded, "but apparently yesterday my brain decided to start letting me function normally again. I have to take some sort of class, therapy -I think, to help me remember how to walk and do all the simple, everyday things."

I kissed her forehead again, "I'm so happy you're back."

"Me too."

I poked her nose.

She smiled sweetly, "Kian, may I ask you something?"

I raised my eyebrow and nodded, "of course."

"I dreamed that visited me while I was in a coma," she began, "and you showed me a video of all my friends saying they missed me, talking about memories and everything."

"You remember that?" I whispered.

She nodded, "that was real?"

I nodded in reply.

"I want to see it, like actually see it. I've heard it, but can I see it?"

"I'll show you it next time, I didn't bring my laptop."

Andrea smiled.

"What else do you remember?"

"I remember you visited me everyday for the first two weeks that I was comatose."

I frowned, "how do you remember it was two weeks?"

"The nurse told me, 'well, I'm surprised Mr. Lawley hasn't come to visit you today, he's visited you everyday for the last two weeks, wonder what he's up to today' and I guess that's how I remember."

Slowly, I nodded.

"Where were you?"

"In my room," I told her, "I had decided that it was bad for me to visit you, it just hurt."

She sighed, "and you also are with another girl."

"Oh. Yeah."

Andrea squeezed my hand lightly, "it's okay Kian. I remember what you said to me. You needed to move on, you needed to be happy. I'm okay. I'm disappointed, but I'm happy for you."
