"I miss you."

Kian Lawley
"Kian."
I turned around, startled to see her standing across the room, holding onto the chair in my room.
"Andrea?" All at once, it was like my heart had stopped at the sight of her, "you're okay!"
She laughed lightly, "yeah, but you're not."
My head shook, "of course I'm not okay. Andrea, I thought you were gone for good."
She shrugged, "I'm here. Aren't I?"
"You know what I mean."
She played with her hair, like old times, "I'm not here to discuss me. I'm here for you Kian, we need to talk about you."
"I'm not following," I looked at her carefully, "what do you mean?"
"You like Meredith."
I looked down, "and?"
"Stop overthinking it Kian. Stop treating her like a friend. You like her!"
"I love you though."
She groaned, "forget about me Kian. Go for it with her, for me. Please?"
"But you're here," my voice cracked.
"For now."
"Andrea, I can't. You're here in the flesh! I couldn't possibly do that to you."
She sighed, "it won't hurt me. I'll be fine, I won't you to move on. You're hurting Meredith. She really likes you, you're hurting her the most. It hurts her when you're not fully into the relationship. Forget about me Kian, please."
"Andrea, I still love you."
"I know, just do me a favor, at least try to move on with Meredith."
"I don't understand, what about us?"
She shook her head, "promise you'll try with Meredith, for me. Please?"
"Fine, I promise."
She walked towards me, enclosing the gap that had separated us. "Thank you."
I went to tuck her hair behind her ear, but quickly retaliated at the touch of her skin. "Andrea, you're so cold."
Her eyes pulled away from mine as she looked at the clock on my wall. "I need one more favor from you."
She looked back at me as I muttered, "what is it?"
She leaned towards me and kissed my cheek softly. She made her way to my ear, her cold breath gave me goosebumps as she whispered, "wake up."
