I could hear Laura screaming on the other end and then telling Daniel. 'We have to celebrate! I'm going to spoil that kid so much.' She excitedly responded. 'I wouldn't have it any other way. Simon and I are moving this week but once we're finished you guys can be our first guests.' I told her smiling at Simon to let him now how happy Laura was about our news. We finished Jack's walk and headed back home where we started to not so fun process of packing everything in Simon's house. There was so much stuff we had no idea where to start plus there was still my house that needed to be packed. 'You have to much shit, Simon!' I complained as I filled a second box of all his books. 'Don't even get me started on your house Adele. Thank god this new house is big enough for all of our shit.' He laughed as he carried two more boxes into the garage. 'One room down, nine more to go.' I told myself but it wasn't motivating enough.

It was now Saturday and our last box had just been carried in. Both Simon's house and mine were officially empty and put up for sale. There were boxes everywhere but I didn't care, I was just happy all our stuff was in one place. 'Babe we need to get Scarlett's room finished before I pick her up tomorrow.' Simon said as looked through all the boxes to try and find the ones with Scarlett's name on them. 'You start on that and I'll order us some food. We'll get it done don't worry.' I told him when I saw how stressed he was getting. 'I just want her to like the house and her room has to be done whether you help me or not.' He snapped. 'Simon, I know you're stressed but don't take it out on me. We haven't eaten all day so I'm going to get us something. I'll help you when I finish but if you're going to be a jerk you can do it on your own.' I said and then walked out of the room.

'Adele why are you acting like this? You're the one who spent all that damn money buying this useless dog shit thats just laying around. I'm tired of it.' Simon yelled as he walked into the family room where all of Jack's stuff was laid out. 'Why don't you shut your mouth. I'm organizing it to put in these baskets so it can be put away.' I shouted back pointing to the four different tan baskets sitting in front of me. 'I don't know what your problem is but you need to stop picking fights or I'm going to give you something to fight about.' I said with an annoyed tone in my voice. Simon didn't respond he just muttered something under his breath and went into a different room. The rest of the day and night consisted of nothing but us arguing. I knew it was only because we were both stressed but I hated it when we fought and didn't make up right away. The only thing we did do together that was pleasant was finish Scarlett's room.

At the end of the night when we finished unpacking the kitchen and most of the essentials, both of us went to get ready for bed. 'I'm sleeping on the sofa tonight.' Simon said as he grabbed a pillow and blanket off of the bed. 'Simon don't be ridiculous.' I said in protest. 'I love you Adele but I just need my space tonight, okay. I'll see you in the morning.' He kissed my cheek and then walked down the two flights of stairs to the living room. I don't know if I was upset because of the pregnancy hormones or because this was the first time We had a big fight. 'I'm sorry.' I whispered into my pillow as I laid in my empty bed crying.

I tossed and turned all night, barely getting any sleep without having Simon next to me. It was half past five in the morning when I finally decided to go downstairs and check on him. As I made my way to where he was I noticed he too wasn't asleep. 'Hey.' I said entering the living room. 'Couldn't sleep?' He asked sitting up on the sofa. 'I'm so sorry Simon. We were both so stressed but I never want us to go to bed angry again.' I sat down next to him and intertwined my hand with his. 'I know and I don't want to either. I can't sleep without you next to me. I just needed to cool down but next time we'll talk it out after.' Simon leaned in to kiss me and I returned the act with more passion. 'You wanna go christen our new bed?' He asked standing up and pulling me with him.

I don't know why I was so nervous about Scarlett seeing the new house. Simon had just called to let me know they were twenty minutes away and the suspense was killing me. As soon as I heard Simon's car pull into the driveway and immediately ran outside. 'Adele! Adele!' Scarlett shouted through the window. I opened her door and she threw her arms around my neck, squeezing tight. 'I missed you so much, baby girl.' I said returning the hug. 'We got some big surprises for you.' I informed her as I helped her out of the car. 'Would you like a proper tour of your new home, madam?' Simon politely asked Scarlett offering her his hand. 'Yes, please daddy.' She responded.

From the moment Scarlett stepped through the front door she was captivated by every room we showed her. There was the family room, the living room, kitchen, two bathrooms, two bedrooms, and a laundry room. And that was just the fist story. 'What's upstairs?' Scarlett asked as he walked up the first flight. 'There's three bedrooms and two bathrooms down that way.' I said pointing down the right side of the hallway. 'And on this side is a giant playroom just for you.' Simon told her pointing to the other side of the hallway. We walked up to the next floor and there was Simon and I's bedroom along with three more bathrooms and bedrooms. 'Here is your room.' Simon said opening of the doors to reveal a baby pink room with everything a six year old girl would want. 'Wow!' Scarlett screamed seeing everything that was in there. 'I have a big girl room.' She hollered running around. 'There's one more room I want to show you.' Simon told her reaching for her hand.

He walked to the room next to ours and opened the door. 'Baby. What is that?' I asked seeing a crib in the middle of the room. 'What's that for?' Scarlett asked confused. 'Princess, Adele is going to have a baby. You're going to be a big sister.' Simon said picking her up and walking into the room. 'There's going to be baby sleeping in there, soon.' Scarlett gave him a puzzled look and then asked where the baby was now. 'It's in Adele tummy. It has to grow and then when it's finished it'll live here. Satisfied with the answer Simon put Scarlett down and she ran to her playroom to see all her new toys. 'I felt really bad about our fight so last night I over nighted it and put it together while you were taking a shower.' Simon said pulling me into a hug. 'You have no idea how hard it was to put this together in less than an hour by myself but I just wanted to surprise you.'
