[NCIS] Reunion (On hold)

Chapter 2

ZIVA'S POV

I was so happy that my daughter was back home safe. Some how though, she was different. I didn't know why she ran away and I don't know what happen when she was away. I'm my sure if I want to know either. A thousand thoughts ran through my mind. If any of the things I thought of happened I will lose it.

"Hunter, where did you go when you ran away?" Alyssa asked.

"I went back and forth between Israel and England." Hunter replied.

"What were you doing?" Alyssa asked.

"I would tell you but then I would have to kill you!" Hunter said in a joking manner.

Alyssa and Hunter laughed. So did Tony. Most of the time she didn't know who her father was because I refused to tell. But you can always tell she was Tony's daughter. She had his eyes. She had his sense of humour but she was still serious.

I saw that she was actually happy. What had happened that changed her? It's not like I don't want her to be happy but she's always been hiding behind a mask of excuses and lies. But then again I do the same thing. I am happy for her, for whatever made her smile and as long as my baby is happy, I'm happy.

Tony asked Hunter some random questions that didn't make any sense. We spent so much time catching up that we forgot about the team. That we should tell them stop the search. That Hunter is home. Safe and sound.

When I looked back at Hunter I saw that Alyssa had snuggled up next to her. Hunter has no idea how much Alyssa missed her. She cried everyday. She didn't want to sleep by herself either, so she's been sleeping in between me and Tony for comfort.

"Hunter..?" Alyssa mumbled.

"Yes..?" Hunter said hugging Alyssa.

"Are you staying?"

"Of course. I am back for good."

Hunter told us a few things that happened while she was away in Israel. She said she had found out some things and almost got blown up a couple of times. How she saved a few people even though she could sabotage her mission. Hunter said she rose in the ranks of Mossad. She was offered to be the Deputy Director but she refused and my father understood. That's kinda strange that he actually let her go. But the spot of Deputy Director is still there for her, Hunter had said.

KNOCK KNOCK!

'Who could be knocking at the door?' I wondered.

Hunter got up with Alyssa on her hip. She went to answer the door. Tony and I followed her to see who it was.

Hunter opened the door and put Alyssa down really fast. Everything happened so fast. It was the team and Breena. Abby had tackle hugged Hunter.

"A-Abby... I...c-can't breathe..." Hunter choked out.

"I'msorryitsjustthattheteammissedyou!" Abby said.

Abby let go of Hunter. The rest of the team then hugged her. Everyone sat down and talked. Abby and McGee told her what she had missed at NCIS.

"I wish I was there!" Hunter shouted.

"Haha. Well now you are here." McGee said.

"Yeah! I missed all of you and NCIS. Um... Just one question."

"What would that be, DiNozzo?" Gibbs said sipping his coffee.

"Where's Jenny?" Hunter asked.

"She's at the office arguing with Vance."

Hunter laughed.

The NCIS family was finally whole again.
