Kath's POV

"Thank You for coming, Ms.Kim at kay Mr.Xian narin. Naabala ko pa kayo.." sabi ko sa mga bisita ko. It has been three days and honestly, for a car crash victim, I feel great.

"I told you, Kathryn, call me ate at si Xian rin, dapat kang masanay at kuya na ang dapat na tawag mo sa kanya, we're already family." 

 

"Pero--"

 

"Please?" sabi ni Ms. Kim. 

I nodded. "Sige po."

Daniel was currently outside talking with Xian outside so Kim was left with me. She kept on attending to me and asking me what I want.

Also, to keep me from getting bored she keeps on talking and telling stories on how she and Xian met. On how she hated him at first because she thought he was nothing but an arrogant spoiled brat who was forced to marry her, inarrange marriage daw kasi sila ng parents nila, she never thought she would fall for him nor did she think the feeling would be mutual

I felt a tingle in my stomach on realizing how we both have the same story, except for the arrange marriage part, but still it was very familiar.

"Ikaw Kath?" she asked so I turned to her. "How did you and Daniel meet?"

I looked calm outside but inside my mind was exploding on what to say to her. Should I tell her the truth? NO! The plan would be ruined. So I started ..

"I met him ... at the park." I looked at her and she was clinging to ever word I said. "I was ... reading a book when a soccer ball rolled to me. I picked it up and saw a dark-haired boy looking at me. Well, I never knew he was Daniel Padilla so I gave him the ball and walked away ... which obviously hurted his ego."

I heard Kim giggle but she motioned me to go on.

"So he went to my school, and that's when I learned he was Daniel Padilla, he talked to me privately which obviously made rumors and other things, he gave me the second book of the book that I was reading when we first meet. He said, so you like prince charmings? Since my book is about prince and princesses and forbidden love, so I said: I like them better in books. He laughed a little before giving me a card with his number and said: Let me prove you wrong."

 

Narinig kong sumigaw ng malakas si Ate Kim. "O-M-G Kath! Tinalo nyo love story namin! At rinig ko sa park pa sya nag-propose sayo!"

 

I nodded and she sighed. Phew. Buti nalang naniwala sya. Pero, in fairness pati ako kinilig sa ginawa kong story. Pwede akong maging writer! The door opened and Xian went in.

"Nasaan po si Daniel?" tanong ko sa kanya.

"He's taking care of some things." My eyes went wide when he said that. He couldn't have-- He promised! But then I felt a strong arm on my shoulder.
