Kath's POV

 At last, nakalabas narin ako sa ospital kaya nagcecelebrate kami kasama ang family ni Daniel, ginawa narin itong farewell party ni Kuya Xian at Ate Kim. Mabuti nalang at wala si Gerald at si Maja. Phew.

"I'm so glad you're fine, iha." sabi ni Mrs.Cruz, asawa ng isang business partner nila Daniel.

Nag-smile lang ako. Dahil honestly, wala na akong masabi pa. Grabe tong babaeng to hindi nauubusan ng laway. And i'm not really comfortable in this VERY tight dress.

I felt Daniel's hand on my waist. "May I excuse Kath, for a moment?" sabi nya kay Mrs.Cruz. "It's time for the dance." dagdag nya.

"Of course." sabi ni Mrs.Cruz and we walked away. He led me to one side of the dance floor and placed both of his hands on my waist so I wrapped mine in his neck and we started slow dancing with the music.

"Pagpasensyahan mo na si Mrs.Cruz." tumawa nalang ako. "She's a really big talker."

"I noticed." he smiled. I buried my face on his neck, inhaling his scent.

"Tired?" I heard him whisper, so I nodded. "Wanna leave?"

"Nah," I whispered. "I still want to say goodbye to Ate Kim and Kuya Xian."

He laughed. "It's not like they're dying, Kath. At uso na ang skype ngayon." I gave him a stern look.

"Okay, fine., whatever you want." he kissed my forehead and I immediately heard shuttering cameras everywhere. Ugh, and here I am with my hopes up, in the end, it's all for show. But even if I think of it like that, moments like this are what I treasure the most.

He turned me around and catched me just as I fell. Parang dejavu, when we were in the garden during their family reunion.

I heard a round of applause and that's when I realized we were the only ones left dancing. Even Daniel looked a bit embarassed, but it might be just another act. He wrapped his hand again on my waist and led me to a table for two.

I saw Xian and Kim walk to the stage, and Kim waved at me so I waved back.

Xian had an arm wrapped around Kim's waist and the other hand holding a glass of white wine.

"So," he cleared his throat, before talking in the mic and chuckled. "Please bear with me, I really suck at speeches." I laughed with everyone elese, when I looked at Daniel he only smiled.

"But, here's to Kath's good health," everybody raised their glasses towards me so I raised mine back.

"To my brother Gerald and her wife Kim, who failed to come today, may they have a long, happy, married life."

"As if." Daniel whispered in my ears and I managed to surpress my laugh into a giggle.

"To my little brother Daniel," I felt his grip in my waist growing tighter, so I wrapped one of my free arms in his waist too, he looked at me and I gave him a smile. ",for finding the one he can call his own." everybody raised their glasses on Daniel and he smiled at them.

",and to new life. For me and Kim." he gave her a kiss. and everyone cheered. "Cheers." Xian said and everyone clapped their hands.

I looked at Daniel but he was already staring at me. "They look happy." 

He smiled. "They are."
