ALL: No Idea

Daniel's POV

I sighed in relief when my conciousness returned. I'm alive, my whole body hurts and I can't feel anything but still, i'm alive. So she's alive. I know Neil will never fail me.

"Sir!" halatang nagulat si Neil dahil nahulog sya sa upuan nya. "Oh God! You're alive! You're safe! Oh thank goodness. I really thought you were dead! You were really-- I-I mean it's ---" he said.

"K-Kath ... ryn..." I said. Damn, my lungs hurt. He stopped talking.

"Oh." he said. "S-Sir ... kasi--"

I felt my eyes widened. Oh no, he couldn't mean ... she didn't-- "N-Neil, you're kidding." 

I said trying to stand up. "S-Sir it's not--"

"NEIL! WHERE IS SHE?!" sigaw ko. I even forgot about the pain I feel when i'm breathing. His next answer will decide if I will tear his head off or not.

"Kasi ..."

Suddenly the door burst open and I felt a thousand needles in my heart were removed.

"Ms. Kathryn?!" sigaw ni Neil. "What are you doing here?!"

Eh? What?

"D-Daniel ..." she whispered. I saw the terror in Neil's face and I don't know why. He quietly left the room while I tried my best to sit, facing her. I opened my arms ready for a hug or a kiss but instead .... I received a punch.

Yup, a punch.

But hey don't mind me, it's not like I ran for a few thousand miles, looked all over for her in the freezing weather and saved her life. Of course I deserved a punch.

"ARAY! Kath!" I screamed. "What was that for?!"

I can see tears falling from her eyes. "Why?!" she screamed.

"What ... do you mean 'why'?" I asked cause i'm really confused.

"Why did you go after me?! It was freezing for Christsake Daniel! You could've gotten killed! Why didn't you just stay with Julia that way you can be safe! Why ... why did you ran after me ... what about your dream, Daniel? Isn't that important?! What would happen if you didn't make it?!" she asked.

"I should ask you the same thing Kath!" I screamed. Why is she so angry anyway?! Isn't she a bit thankful I saved her from freezing! So this is why Neil was nervous, because he knew she would act this way.

"I'm not a kid Daniel! I can take care of myself." she said.

"You almost died, Kath! Is that how you call taking care of yourself?!"

"So what if I almost died?! THAT DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE TO ABONDON EVERYTHING YOU WORKED FOR DANIEL! I'm sure there is more things for you to do than just to be my hero! There's more IMPORTANT things to do and to take in consideration before you--"

"But you're the most important person for me in this world, Kath!" her mouth went wide open.

"W-Wha--"

"You were never the second choice, never the second opinion, and NEVER the third wheel. You have always been my priority." I said.

More tears fell from her eyes but I still saw confusion in it. I sighed.

"Those dreams, plans, EVERYTHING, all would be worthless without the girl I love by my side."

"B-But Julia she's--"

"She's from the past. And I can assure you all I can see in my future is you." She covered her mouth with her hands. "I love you, Kath. I have loved you ever since I first laid my eyes on you. But I was too scared to admit it to myself, because I thought I would only get my heart broken. I have endure too much pain, and if I admit it to myself that I love you and you leave I ... I don't know if I can stand it. But then I realized, The risk would be worth it. If I could hear you laugh everyday, If I could see you making breakfast for me everyday, If I could hold you in my arms every single day. It would all be worth it."

I went near her and cupped her face.

"Now the only question left is ..." I kissed her forehead. "Would you take that risk with me?"

She removed her hands from her mouth and I can see the smile breaking out in her face. She let out a small laugh before she nodded. 

This is not how I planned my confession. It was supposed to be in a romantic place not in a hospital with the both of us having difficulty breathing and with us only wearing our hospital gowns, but somehow, it was still perfect.

"I love you." I whispered. A single tear fell from here eyes when she closed it. I wiped it and she smiled at me.

"Are you sure?" she asked. I nodded before I leaned in and kissed her in her lips. I tasted a pint of saltisness from her tears. "Because when you say yes, then i'll never let you go."

I swear my soul sighed in relief when I realized our feeling was mutual. I wasn't dumb enough to think her feelings of me didn't change but there was always that little pessimist inside of me that says otherwise so now, finally knowing we feel the same, is such a massive relief.

"Yes."

"I love you too." she whispered.

I leaned in to her face and stopped when I was about an inch from her face to give her an option whether she's ready for this or not, but then she pulled me closer, sealing both of our lips. I felt her smile in our kisses. After a few moments she broke the kiss which made me a bit too disappointed. She laughed, which made me smile.

I pulled her closer to me until our noses were touching. "Can you promise me something?" I asked running my hands in her hair.

She nodded.

"Marry me."

I can feel the shock because of my sudden proposal. Even I was nervous. We were still too young but it's not like I can't support her. And it's not like our future together won't be bright, even if I don't get the company we would still be successful.

I tightened the grip in her waist, she giggled before giving me a small kiss.

"You need to work for it, Mr.Padilla." she said. "I want a proper proposal AND a big ring!"

We both laughed.

"As you wish, princess."
