Kathryn's POV

"Hey babe," bati nya sa akin pagpasok ko sa bahay nya, he gave me a small kiss which made my eyes go wide, I was about to ask for an explanation when he gave me THAT look. I immediately knew someone unexpected is inside. I noticed the maids were all wearing a uniform, well they do wear uniforms before, but now, parang mas maganda at mas pormal ang uniform nila. I was very thankful that he texted me to wear something formal, kaya naka-dress, heals, at make-up ako ngayon. 

"Ms. Kathryn," I looked at my side at Neil was there. Pati sya naka-tux. What on Earth is happenning? I looked around and I knew it was safer not to talk. I noticed that his hands grip was getting tighter to mine, I looked at him and kissed his cheeks to let him know I will be prepared.

He gave me a small grateful smile. We went up the stairs, twice, and finally when we were in the third floor Neil opened a door and inside the room with all the small screens monitoring the house was his father. So that's why he kissed me, his father can see us from here. I never knew there were so many cameras around this house. But well, he is a PADILLA. Safety is a must.

 

"Hello dear," bati nya sa akin pagpasok namin. 

"Good morning, sir." sabi ko sa kanya. He gave me a small smile.

"So, now that were all here, shall we go?" sabi nya and Daniel nodded.

"Go? Go where?" I asked.

"Oh, you didn't tell him Daniel?" Daniel didn't answer. "We're going to our company, Kathryn. Me and Daniel are going to teach you on how to run the company if you and Daniel own it someday." he said.

"Wait, Daniel is already the next owner?" I asked.

"I'm still thinking about it." I squezed Daniels hands. I don't know whether to be happy, because I can still be on Daniel's side or sad because it might take a long time for his father to make a decision.

"Let's go?" he asked.

"Y-Yeah."

Neil drove Mr. Padilla's (father) car. He sat at the passenger seat while the two of us sat behind. Only Daniel's father talked throughout the ride and after a few minutes he sat quitely on the ppassenger seat, I glanced at the rearview mirror and saw that he was closing his eyes, I guess he fell asleep.

I glanced at Daniel at the other side of the car, staring outside the window. I silently moved near him and wrapped my arms around his. He smiled before looking at me.

"I hate it when you're quiet." I said, before I pouted a little. "What are you thinking about?" I asked.

He chuckled. "Don't you feel pressured?" he asked. "I mean, I don't like you getting scared because of what's happenning ," he looked at his dad to make sure he was sleeping.
